Comedy Legend Tim Conway Dies At The Age Of 85 Years

Oh Tim Conway. You will definitely be missed.

The comedic legend died on Tuesday, May 15th at the age of 85.

Although he was quite ill for a long while prior to his death, Howard Bragman, Conway’s representative, said he was not suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

Sometimes it takes one amazing gig to unveil a legendary star. And for Tim Conway, it was The Carol Burnett Show.

“Conway won three Emmys for co-starring in “The Carol Burnett Show,” which ran from 1967 to 1978, and a fourth as a member of its writing team. He also briefly headlined his own variety series and co-starred in several Disney live-action comedies during the ’70s, such as “The Apple Dumpling Gang” and “The Shaggy D.A.” Source: CNN

He was one in a million. A true comedic genius. I loved the entire cast of The Carol Burnett Show but adopted extra giggles whenever Tim Conway was in a skit. He was beyond hilarious. Physical comedy at its best.

Featured below is his legendary role as “The Dentist” on The Carol Burnett Show. It never gets old, does it?

My deepest condolences are extended to the family, friends and fans of Mr. Conway. R.I.P. sir and thanks for the memories.
