Another year, another Emmy Awards show. Let the 2016-2017 season begin!

This year’s Emmy Awards Show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will air at 8:00 PM on the ABC network on Sunday, September 18th.

According to the 68th Emmy Awards Wikipedia Page:

“The Emmys will honor the best in U.S. prime time television programming from June 1, 2015 until May 31, 2016, as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California, and will be broadcast in the U.S. by ABC. The ceremony will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. It was preceded by the 68th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which took place over two nights, September 10 and 11, at the Microsoft Theater.”

It is a very competitive field this year and it appears that Game Of Thrones has dominated the playing field, as has The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

I don’t know – I never watched Game Of Thrones. Is it really that good? What am I missing  here?

I did watch the OJ series and loved it. Cuba Gooding Jr. was excellent, as was the entire cast.

For the life of me I have no ideas why Bates Motel is not a happening thing during this Awards show. The actors are incredibly gifted – so real and believable. Maybe it has to do with the ratings?

And no Stephen Colbert love?  Seriously?  He is the MAN.  So witty. So bright.

Anyway, enjoy the show. Share your picks in the comments section.  Were some of your favorites left out?
