Plus, as the song continues to say: (He’s) sitting on a rainbow. Got the string around (his) finger. What a world, what a life, (he’s) in love.”
Well, guess what Landau Eugene Murphy Jr? We are in love with you too. We love everything about you: your humble backstory, your charisma, your gentle soul and your enormously unique talent.
To hear Frank Sinatra’s voice emanating from your cool, hip body is simply a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
This is why I love America’s Got Talent so much. Without the confines of age restriction or entertainment genre, the show is able to discover the true hidden gems in the country.
A huge cloak has been lifted from the majority of entertainment acts in the country to reveal artists with drive, ambition, unique focus and innovative design. Quite simply, this is a marvelous sight to behold week after week on America’s Got Talent.
But, with Landau, I believe that America’s Got Talent has discovered their version of Britain’s Got Talent’s Susan Boyle.
I am sure we can all envision Landau headlining a Frank Sinatra tribute show in Las Vegas. The guy is ready – he is quite polished in fact – to take Las Vegas by storm. And with further coaching and refinement he will be unstoppable.
They better hurry up with his CD – it’s going to sell like hotcakes, just in time for the holiday season.
Roseanne, I wrote the other day that Landau was ready for Las Vegas – right now. He’ll have some more expereince on the big stage and I expect him to be in the Finals – and possible winner. I did predict 8 of the TOP 10, and I am going to enjoy the various dance groups competiting with one another. This should be fun!

Kariann – totally agree with you! When I saw him strut out on the stage with a white silk scarf around his neck during the Results Show, I was thinking: “He is so ready to take the world by storm”.
I just love the guy! Let’s hope he is in The Finale. I can’t imagine a Finale without him.

I love Landau too! I’d love to see him win. But there are some very talented people/groups this year, namely Landon, the magician. Also the Miami dancers are terrific.

I love him too! He is fantastic! The best singer in this competition. Sure the Miami dancers are great too, but I’d love to see Landau win. If he doesn’t win, hopefully he’ll still get a great career out of this show.

AGT did show some scenes with Landau in the recording studio, so I bet he will be releasing a CD regardless if he wins or not. Yes, with more experience he will get better!
I actually thought the Miami dancers were awesome, but there were only four spots available. It is good to see such a comeback in dance!

The uniqueness to Landau is the fact that he looks nothing like Frank Sinatra and has his own style. I think he was just born with his voice but, at it’s core, I still hear pure Landau. We need him badly in today’s music scene so that the Rat Pack Era can truly live again via Landau, Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jr. Etc.
My heart broke for Anna last night. She looked devastated but I am sure great things will be in store for her in a few years – maybe sooner.
This is the best Top 4 ever. What a show next week!

If, by a skewed force in nature, Landau does not win this competition, he’ll not be a loser by any means. He’s got all the important ingredients to become a star in the music industry, He’s a natural with the spirit that goes right along with it.
