David Archuleta Performs "I'll Never Go" From His "Forevermore" CD.

David Archuleta’s Sensitive Performance Of “I’ll Never Go”.

What is it about David Archuleta’s singing that makes me drop everything I’m doing and just bask in the beauty of his voice?

This beautiful and sensitive video of David performing “I’ll Never Go” from his Forevermore CD made me do just that. This song lingers with you long after the song is over. David sings this song with heartfelt emotion and gentle artistry.

The clarity of his head voice alone is worth the listen. It is immaculate and perfectly focused at every dynamic level.

The intelligent restraint with which David approaches this song is beautifully envisioned. He has such respect for the lyrics and communicates the message of the song with genuine, impeccable artistry.

He is a role model in so many ways – the excellent manner in which he conducts his personal life, his connection to his Faith, his disciplined and spiritual approach to his music, his devotion to those who support him in his musical journey.

I feel so very privileged to be part of Team David. Thank you David for living your life in your own special way and on your terms. Hopefully, other young singers will be inspired by your journey and attain strength of mind and body to realize their dreams as you have.

What a beautiful write up of this amazing young man! This one will stick with me a long time.

  2. I loved this video, to me it is saying ” I’m leaving but I already miss you guys.” The packing of the laptop says ” I’m only an e-mail away.” I know he means it just look at facial expressions.

  4. This is such a beautiful article about THE most amazing young man in the industry today. Beautiful voice, beautiful person and a heart that is golden. Admire him for where he is and what he is doing and miss him. 2014 can’t come soon enough. Thank you for this article. You are always right on concerning David. So very proud to be his fan.

  5. I think he is saying, I may be going away, but my heart is still with you. I marvel at the beauty of his voice and persona.

  6. I truly expect David to come back from his Mission with the “love of his life” on his arm and singing this song to her. Where else would he ever have a chance to pursue that phase of his life. And he’s getting old (in the Mormon world) to not be thinking of a wife and having a family. I truly hope that happens to him in the next two years.

  7. This is another writing that hits the mark Roseanne! David sings with his soul. I’m so very blessed that he shared that with us. Forevermore is full of gorgeous tunes. Each one in it’s own way is special as they are sung with David’s true appreciation for the original singers. He respects their talents with each word he sings. I am especially fond of Tell Me. His VOICE is simply divine and hauntingly beautiful!
Thanks for your review. I look forward to what you think of his Begin album due in early August.

  12. Thank you for the lovely review of David’s video. I agree totally agree with you. We are so lucky to know this beautiful young man. His performances are never a disappointment! The video is just beautiful. Can you imagine David singing this in concert? I just can’t wait!

  13. Well said, Roseanne….as a grandfather who used to sing quite a bit, I truly enjoy the expressiveness, the beautiful vocals, and the honesty of David’s music. While playing some of David’s songs on Forevermore, my grandson was singing along and said…”play those again”…..There is hope for artists such as David. Thanks for the terrific review…it’s well deserved for this classy guy with such vast talent.

  14. Hearing this song with the video totally mesmerized me and couldn’t hold back the happy and sad tears I had at the end of the video, happy for him to be on his journey, but sad to see him leave.

  15. Love everything about this review. I especially liked how you talked about David’s ‘intelligent restraint’. David does that so well. I think the entire Forevermore album shows much of that restraint, a skill that eludes alot of artists today. Really enjoyed your insight Roseanne.

  16. Thank you so much everyone for your feedback. I am deeply touched. This song moved me so much – the maturity, the artistry, the emotion was first class all the way.

I appreciate that you took the time to add your lovely comments. David has the most gracious fans. Please stop by again. Thanks again! :)
