Vocal MasterClass Discussion For American Idol Season 17: The Top 14 Live Performances

Vocal MasterClass Discussion For American Idol Season 17: The Top 14 Live PerformancesIn hopes of winning over the hearts of viewers and being voted through to the next phase of the competition, the top 14 contestants perform on the iconic Idol stage for the first time. This American Idol show will air on Sunday, April 14th on ABC at 8:00 PM.

Then, on Monday April 15th, the seven contestants with the most votes by America will advance to the top 10; the seven remaining contestants will sing to impress the judges to fill-in the last three spots.

So, once again, Idol viewers will be treated to four hours of live performances over the next to nights.

Also, as I was looking at this very diverse song list, one song popped out at me and I said – huh? It was the fact that Walker Burroughs would be singing Climb Every Mountain. A musical theatre song ? Who would have thunk it?

I did a bit of google research on him and he is quite the talent.

And yet, there are many reasons to love all of the performances this week. Great talent and great song choices all round.

Enjoy the show one and all. Come back to comment. What a super season this is!
