Okay, Idol Fans. I am back from vacation and, from all reports, I have been missing a fabulous season of Idol featuring extraordinary talent.

This is what is happening this week, courtesy of @IdolSpoilers on Twitter via MJsBigBlog. Social media for the win – because I couldn’t find anything on the American Idol Page.

“For the first time ever, “American Idol”’s iconic showcase round hits the road, heading to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii, where the show’s Top 40 contestants take to the beach for incredible solo performances in front of a live audience and the superstar judge panel. Following the performances, it’s an emotional roller coaster in paradise as the judges sit down with each contestant to reveal their fate, culminating with the show’s Top 20 finalists. The search for America’s next superstar continues on The ABC Television Network, SUNDAY, MARCH 31 (8:00–11:00 p.m. EDT), streaming and on demand.”

Is it asking too much for American Idol to have a stronger social media presence with current news? Like the time and the date? And the fact that the show is 3 hours long this Sunday?

Anyway, American Idol airs on Sunday March 31st on ABC at 8:00 PM for three fun-filled hours and Monday April 1st at 8:00 PM for two hours.

Enjoy the shows everyone. I will be doing catch-up!!

  3. This is a pretty well rounded Top 20. I was impressed with how well prepared they were and how well they performed overall.

These are some of the contestants that are interesting to me. Alejandro Aranda, Laci Kaye Boothe, Wade Cota and Laine Hardy. Walker Burroughs is from my community.
