Another year, another Emmy Awards show. Let the 2018-2019 season begin!
This year’s Emmy Awards Show, hosted by Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che and Colin Jost, will air at 8:00 PM on the NBC network on Monday, September 17th.
The nominees will include television programming from June 1st, 2017 – May 31st, 2018 as chosen by the Academy Of Television Arts and Science
Personally, I am not loving the nominees this year.
Why you ask?
Because Freddie Highmore, star of “The Good Doctor”, is not on the nominees list for Best Actor. That’s why!!
I mean he was nominated last season when the show had barely been on TV for a month or so. So- colour me confused.
He didn’t win, which makes sense, but, after watching him for the entire premier season, he should have garnered another nomination.
And many great shows were stripped from the 2018-2019 season – shows such as “Taken” and “The Brave“.
So, I am pretty much done with much of the regular programming for a bit until they reinstate some worthy actor nominations and cancelled shows.
But, hey, this is just my opinion. Please feel free to send me your picks in the comments section. Maybe I am just in a blue Monday mode here.
Speaking of TV, the Fall seasons of The Voice and Dancing With The Stars start tonight.
