Does anyone know what is going on with this show this season? Two weeks of reruns? Really?

Sounds to me like a production malfunction. Maybe the producers are making it up as the show moves along. Are they, perhaps, discovering the power of social media and becoming influenced by which acts are receiving the most buzz?

At any rate, Judgement Week is upon us, where judges Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Mel B whittle down 48 acts for the live shows.

This week, the show airs on NBC on Tuesday, July 22nd at 9:00 PM and Wednesday, July 23rd at 8:00 PM.

Is anyone out there? Are you still watching or are you at the beach?

Comments are now open for business.

  1. I’m here and watched AGT last night. It has been far less enjoyable this summer because of the re-runs and last night’s show wasn’t much better. I really don’t like this format. I especially felt sorry for the comedians who had to do their routine without an audience (except for the judges). I enjoyed some of the singers and am wondering how many of them will make it to the next round.

  2. Yes, Louise, it is really hard to become invested with this show this season. The momentum has become sluggish with all the reruns. Oh well…hopefully the live show will be better

  4. Two weeks of reruns annoyed me too. I wasn’t really interested in watching the show again.

I did like some performers – some of the singers and dancers. Don’t remember anybody’s names at this point.

I don’t like that they have this show conflict with So You Think You Can Dance on Wednesday. I’d prefer if they had Monday and Tuesday.
