Hope all the Americans are enjoying a great Memorial Day weekend. Nothing like a long weekend to rejuvenate our mind and body.

But now we are back at it again – The Voice on Monday, May 27th and Tuesday the 28th, as well as the premiere of America’s Got Talent-biting at the heels-next week on June 4th.

Looks like Team Adam and Team Blake are kicking butt in a serious way – both Teams still have 3 singers remaining in the competition. Newcomers, Shakira of Team Shakira and Usher of Team Usher each have only one remaining singer – Sasha Allen and Michelle Chamuel respectively. They are strong singers but still…Going to be dicey!

Scheduled to perform are:

From Team Adam Levine
Amber Carrington
Judith Hill
Sarah Simmons

From Team Shakira
Sasha Allen

From Team Usher
Michelle Chamuel

From Team Blake Shelton
Holly Tucker
Danielle Bradbery
The Swon Brothers

Good luck to the Top 8! Should be a great show! Enjoy The Top 8 Promo featured below. And don’t forget to add your comments as we head into the home stretch of Season 4.

  1. For some reason I feel that it will be between Danielle and Michelle.Time wil tell.

  2. I love those two but I also love Sasha Allen and Amber Carrington

  3. I have my votes to Sasha Allen. I loved seeing how Shakira works with her. There’s definitely some talent here!

  4. So happy you are voting for Sasha. Shakira is wonderful with her and I really do not want to see her lone artist eliminated tomorrow.

  5. i liked sara. and i love the gotye song. but i didn’t like her version at all. i think adam led her astray on the coaching and had she sung it how she originally wanted to, i don’t think she would have gone home this week. i’m really disappointed that she is gone.

  6. Yes, I agree. Talk about over thinking a song delivery. It was too forced – emotionally and vocally. She is not my favorite at all but Adam’s approach was not good.

That being said, Judith Hill – again not one of my favorites – gave a stellar performance this week. What a shame she was eliminated in favorite of Holly Tucker and The Swon Brothers. Man! These country folk sure know how to vote.

  7. Maybe the strong country vote is also due to American Idol possibly not treating country very well this year.

  8. D.V. Hmm I don’t think so. I just think that Blake Shelton has a ton of fans. Lol

  9. each week i can’t believe the swon brothers made it another week…and each week i ‘long for’ midas well to be there instead. midas well had so much personality and wonderful harmonies and for me the swon brothers do not.

  10. watching the itunes top 100 shows me that people are buying the swon brothers. little young danielle seems always to be REALLY high in the ratings and seems to stay there the longest. sasha and judith hill often seem to be the lowest (87 and 88 right now) while sara is at 50 at the moment. sara’s wild horses stayed there for a really long time, and her very first song probably equaled that or even stayed longer (the joan osborne song). none of the others were charting then. danielle is at 12 now, and michelle 17.
