Well, on Wednesday night, the gals are on the line as they slug it out to gain access into the Top 20 .

I have to confess that, right about now, I am waiting for the live shows to begin. But, alas, we still have three more weeks of this elimination process, so it’s a waiting game. Thumb – twiddling time.

  1. Overall, it was a good night. There are so many young ladies that I really can see in the TOP 10 and on the tour. I really like Angela Miller, Candice Glover, Isabel Pasqualone, Janelle Arthur, Rachel Hale, and Shubha Vedula. Janelle has really improved and is a true contender. You can tell Keith really likes her. I think Isabel/Isabelle is a great singer.

The judges have been doing a pretty good job. Nicky was a little bit silly with some of her obsessions. I was sorry to see Brandy sent home. They should have sent home Kez Ban who has become an unlikeable character. And I can’t believe Zoanette is still there. She’s like a joke contestant!

I think I prefer the girls and guys mixed in together, but just so the TOP 20 are all talented singers! I am anxious to see what the themes will be this year! Tomorrow should be a good show!

  2. KariAnn and Hunter – I wish I could keep all the names straight but I can’t. The girls are excellent though minus a few drama queens but what can you do? All part of the fun on American Idol.

It always surprises me , though, how thoroughly unprepared and erratic some of these singers are for the Hollywood rounds. You would think that after 12 seasons they would know what to expect. 🙂

  3. Kariann – I like the mixture of guys and gals as well. But, I can’t say I didn’t enjoy last night’s show. I thought the girls were very strong, actually. Much better than the guys.
