Masterclass Discussion For America’s Got Talent Season Seven: The Premiere

Well, I am set for the summer! Season Seven of America’s Got Talent premieres tonight at 8:00 on NBC and I can’t wait to see what this show has in store for us this season.

Of course, the talk of the town is the notorious Howard Stern, the new addition to the judges’ panel along with returning judges Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne.

Howard replaces Piers Morgan who has become too busy with his journalistic duties over at CNN.

I know that there is a lot of controversy over Howard Stern’s participation in this show. But, considering that the creator of this show is Simon Cowell, then it all makes sense.

Simon loves controversy above all else and Howard’s involvement will create headlines and buzz for this show all summer. Guaranteed!

So, hop on board. It’s going to be a bumpy ride. Will you be watching?

I left an earlier comment but it doesn’t look like it posted so I;m posting again. If you see two ..they both basically will say the same thing

I absolutely love this show. Iv’e listened to Howard Stern on Tv and radio all my life, and I must say there wasn’t one time that I didn’t cringe wondering what was going to come out of his mouth next. One show that keeps flashing in my mind was when he was on the Magic Johnson show. After seeing that show I couldn’t see how anybody would have him on their show . If last night however was any indicator on how he’s going to do …it looks to me like its going to be great!! I had a lot of challenges all day yesterday but when I came home and turned on the show, I couldn’t stop laughing. LOve the carppy talent !The highlight of the show however for me was the end with the 61 year old man and his daughter. The singing the two did to me was just alright but the spirit the two had is what won me over.

  2. I just finished watching the DVR recording of the premiere. I thought Howard did great too. He was completely different from what I expected. I really expected every third word to be “bleep” but it wasn’t so.

I was wondering how he could be a judge on a talent show after he was the one who started the whole Vote for the Worst organization. Go figure. Oh well, he did great! I hope it continues that way.
