Through Our Eyes Offers A Resounding Perspective On The David Archuleta Phenomenon

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed author Pamela Pike’s book about the enormously talented David Archuleta.

This wonderful book, which includes detailed interviews with fans and musicians alike, perfectly summarizes why David Archuleta has continued to be an unstoppable force since his outstanding journey on American Idol three seasons ago.

His talent is uniquely special. David sings from his heart and has only the utmost respect for his music. And this respect carries over to his fans, his musical peers and extraordinary mentors.

I had an opportunity to meet David when he was touring with the Top Ten from American Idol Season Seven. I can’t remember when I have had the privilege to speak with such a mature, thoughtful, caring and genuine human being.

And then, there is his voice. That singular, passionate voice! It is one of those special instruments that moves, inspires and remains with you long after the performance is over.

In her book, Pamela Pike made absolutely certain that no stone was left unturned. She has provided the reader with incredible insight into the relationships David has established with his fans and mentors.

Also, because of my Vocal Masterclass articles for American Idol on the MasterclassLady.Com site, I was given the privilege to add my personal insights about David’s outstanding vocal talent in this book.

It is an absolutely heartwarming journalistic achievement and one that I highly recommend.

Through her detailed interviews, Pamela Pike has perfectly captured David Archuleta’s essence and, more important, his singular talent to achieve excellence every step of the way.

  6. Roseanne, this is just so cool! I remember your writing about him. Remember me saying David should take dance lessons because one day he’ll be big on Broadway. First he’s making albums and doing a beautiful job, especially his Christmas album! Thank you for sharing!
