Ten Years Of American Idol Finalists

Need To Tweet An Idol? Here’s The Complete List From The Hollywood Reporter

I found something neat. The Hollywood Reporter compiled the Ultimate American Idol Twitter List.

They compiled the list by season. More than a 100 former Idol finalists have registered with Twitter.

However, surprisingly enough, Carrie Underwood is not a Twitter person, but I’ll bet most of you knew that already, right?

Special thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, Maria Boyd and Katherine Ostrowski for their hard work.

Rosanne (Giallonardo) Simunovic began her musical career in Timmins, Ontario. She studied piano with Anne Pizzale and later, at an advanced level, with Soeur Anita Vaugeois (Sister Cecile of Les Soeurs De L’Assomption in Timmins). Her vocal and accompaniment skills were nurtured by her aunt, the late Dorothea Mascioli. When Rosanne graduated from O’Gorman High School, she moved on to the University of Toronto where she continued her piano and vocal studies while attaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Teacher’s Diploma in Voice from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Rosanne has studied choral conducting with numerous well known Canadian Conductors, including Wayne Riddell of Montreal, Quebec and the internationally renowned Dr. Elmer Iseler. 1. Thanks, MCL, for posting the link to this list. I wasn’t following Kelly Clarkson; now I am. And you know what? There is some face validity to how many followers someone has on Twitter i.e. the better you do in the season, the more followers you have. At least for Season 10. Scotty has over 200,000 followers; Lauren has 180,000+, James & Haley have about the same, & so on. The only outlier, of sorts :), is Pia, who has about as many followers as James & Haley. Not too surprising.

Now, in Season 8, I think the sequence is going to be less convincing i.e. Adam Lambert has over a million followers vs. about 280,000 for Kris Allen.

OK, that’s enough Twitteranalysis for now. Work is calling my name.
