Adam Lambert – Aftermath : American Idol Season 10 Results Show Live Performance

I missed the entire show last evening, but had to include this as a blog topic. Adam looks and sounds fantastic, doesn`t he?  His words are crystal clear and he pours so much emotion into this song. I loved this performance so much.  But, easy on the screaming, Adam. It sounds very strained.  Keep that throat open and free from constriction.

Adam must be one of the kindest, heart on your sleeve, genuine talented artists out there, not just of Idol graduates, but in the industry. The lyrics are amazing. I’m in a carrol at the bio and nearly started tearing up. His eyes and body language show so much. I wonder if this acoustic version will be available on iTunes. MCL – I know you don’t need me to agree with you, but his voice sounds terribly sore.

  2. I know that this link for purchasing the download of the Aftermath dance remix has been posted on another thread, but I wanted to mention it here as well. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Trevor Project in support of the prevention of teen suicide especially among LGBTQ youth.

  3. I heard the same thing that MCL and Jessica did. I did post a few comments on the results show blog about Adam’s performance. This is really the Adam that I love – stripped down, simple and that great voice! I recorded it and could hear that raspiness in his voice. I hope he takes care of his precious gift. I am wondering if it was bad technique or overuse. He is usually perfect with his singing, but this had me a bit concerned.

It was just great to see him back and doing what he does best!

  4. This was one of my most favorite performances of Adam. He looked so handsome and sounded so good! He truly is a star.

I heard he went to the contestants and gave them all a hug. Then he had some encouraging words for James. How kind, because he knows James has been getting some sharp comparisons to him. I know it meant a lot to James!
