Dancing Masterclass Discussion Thread For So You Think You Can Dance Top 4 Show

So You Think You Can Dance

Well, we are down to four remaining dancers: Adicheke, Lauren, Kent and Robert.  My favorites – Alex and Billy- have left the building, so it’s going to take some mighty fine dancing to keep me interested in tonight’s show.

And heaven spare us of another injury. Please!  It’s a no-brainer to decipher that these dancers are dancing far too much on this show every week. Once dance and one solo would suffice.

I hope Adicheke garners some love from the judges this week.  Does anyone else think that the judges have been incredibly harsh in their critiques of Adicheke?   I love him! He has a fluid approach to his dancing skills while, at the same time, displays great athleticism and agility.

Enjoy the show and please come back to comment! Any dance instructors out there? We need to hear from you!

  1. I was in love with Kent’s routine near the end of the show. I can’t remember who he partnered with…but it was absolutely amazing.

**I don’t mean to nitpick, MCL, but the last girl is Lauren, not Ashley** 🙂

  2. Om my goodness, bizzee! I knew that! Why did I write Ashley instead of Lauren whom I clearly love. Thanks for pointing this out. 🙂

I loved Kent’s final performance as well and he is far from being my favorite.

  3. No worries. I think we all have those moments.

I’m not sure who I want to win…with Billy gone, it’s so hard to decide. I do like Lauren a lot though.

  4. Kent impressed me this week. I mean, he clearly has talent and some star power brewing there, but I must confess I thought he was just a bit too immature to pull out quite that level of empathy and emotion. He definitely earned his place in the finale.

Judging by their tweets, Billy (@Billy_Bell) and Alex (@alexdwong) have been spending some time hanging out, including a trip to Disneyland last week. For some reason that makes me happy.

  5. ReReader – this makes me happy too! Billy and Alex were truly the most gifted dancers of the season. Now, I want Lauren to win – she can dance circles around the remaining guys. However, both you and I know that this won’t happen. (sigh)

  6. Too true. Well, really the most important thing for the dancers is the exposure and the chance to impress choreographers. It’s not as though dancers can make solo careers for themselves after the show is over (unlike singers).

  7. I am very happy with the result and will actually admit I voted for Robert. I don’t get all that involved but this has been a good season. Now that Robert is in, I think I’ll be doing some voting for Lauren. I really do like all three and can see any of them winning this. Yes, I agree Kent is absolutely a great talent!
