I am thoroughly enjoying America’s Got Talent this year. I think the producers and judges have discovered some great talent despite the fact that many enormously talented artists were dismissed early in the season.

I was deeply impressed with Michael Grimm – his new look plus his improved vocal sound made me an immediate fan. And I do love Nate Kenyon. How can you tell I am a voice instructor? I am drawn to the singers and the other acts are left in a mental trail of dust.

However, Fighting Gravity is an excellent, excellent act  and I feel that they will go very far in this competition.

Enjoy the show tonight and come back to comment.  Hey, in fact, you are free to blab away before the show, so enjoy!

REally ? you like Grimm’s new look? I don’t think he seems to be comfortable with it and I like his old look. Can you “critique” both of Nathan’s and Grimm’s voices like you did with the AI? That would be awesome!

  2. I ordered a copy of Michael Grimm’s new CD (Leave Your Hat On) which was just released on July 20–this guy really has a LOT of talent. I love his voice and am really enjoying the CD. The show (AGT) made it seem as if he has only been playing small bars, etc., when in reality he has done more than that. He has played in Branson, Missouri with Bill Medley (from the Righteous Brothers) and Bill sings with him on two of the songs on this CD. Plus he was the opening act for some well-known performers. Nevertheless, I still think he deserves a chance to make a name for himself by being on AGT.

Oh? I thought the both personalities are about the same. They are both out-going. Howie liked that nutty so-called magician who looks like Richard Harris or Peter O’ Toole. Did anyone catch what he said to Piers? Was he angry or just being silly? He could be an actor if anything. Howie gives nutty critique and I supposed he is speaking from his forte’ ~ comedy and feels that they “stripper” could be funny.

It is too bad that Luigi did not do so well last night, I was surprised by his positive attitude hearing the critiques that were not good compared to his emotional outbursts of the past.

The nutty hoop lady bore me to tears as well as Peirs. What was she thinking?

What’s up with the bizarre make-up of last night? The group of South Philly.

I stopped watching when the bike guy came on. LORD! please spare me.

    See ya after tonight.
