  1. here is Angels:
Jenny and Becky from fanblast will have the rest of these vids when they get back. Awesome sound and vid quality!

  2. Awe – you beat me to it Frogcooke! After trying to detox myself from David the last 2 days – I had to log on to see what the Fanblast ladies uploaded – great job!. – also see great pics on the DAFB site.
David looks so carefree in doing Angels in Indiana — he is just bouncing around on the piano seat and bopping/swaying his head around.
In Columbus he grabbed and held onto microphone during yeah yeah part – three times in a row, but last night back to just repositioning the mic — and though still great, did seem to lack that special something in the previous three shows.
Dean K,/Gail H. did not pick my microphone question from the zillions posted- imagine that! Dean’s comment about vocal chord paralysis seemed to be a bit contradictory to statement David made to Ryan on his am LA radio show after the finale — since Frogcooke beat me to add a link, I will put link to that interview — it was after hearing this on my way to work I became a fan of DA as a person. You can here the respect for David that Ryan had.

  3. I didn’t go (sending my kid to private college), but I did think I could post reviews and photos from the local media!

    Great pix:
Brooke looks stunning, and I think the photog was a Cookie fan! LOL!

brief review (be sure to scroll down for the reader’s comments)

Interesting article (and arguments in comments!) about Jason, with 1 concert comment:

  4. Hi everyone!

I am on holidays this week and leaving for Toronto on Friday to see the American Idol performance. I haven’t had a chance to write reviews for all the wonderful links you have sent me, but have been enjoying them very much indeed.

Next week, I will fill you in on the Toronto performance and will continue to write my mini reviews for the remiander of the American Idol tour.

Thanks for keeping this blog tour alive and kicking! It is most appreciated. 🙂

  5. Wadahoot – nice to see all the Jason Castro love. REally looking forward to hearing him – and all the singers – live and in living color in front of my eyes and ears. It beats a YouTube video any day, but thank heavens the fans were passionate enough to create such great footage. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be here talking about the Idols, would we?

  6. here is Apologize from Becky and Jenny:
    good good good

Because i am in “vacation mode”, I have been a little “out of the loop” with the progress of the American Idol tour.

However, I just had to glimpse at this video of “Apologize” before I signed off to dreamland. And – I have to say that David’s performance was absolutely brilliant.

His communicative artistry has certainly progressed throughout the tour and, in this performance, his extraordinary musicality and discipline has increaesd the dimensional aspects of this particular song composition. He pours every last ounce of emotion and passion into this song and phrases the cyclic melodic line with ingenuity and creativity.

How can anyone even question the valiity of this young man’s prodigious artistry? This performance, as well as the cumulative effects of all of his past performances has quickly silenced all the nay-sayers.

What an enormous gift he brings to the music industry! Unbelievable

  8. heheh Here is SBM… and he is definately getting his groove on here. Even some at each side of the stage. Fun fun fun!

  9. Tonight’s the night for Joe Louis Arena in Detroit! I am looking forward to the concert and hope to meet Jason Castro! ;o) I am going with my daughter. She needs a break from her two babies and I can be myself and act silly if I want.

I don’t know how much of a report I will have, but I did hear that Brooke is having throat problems. I hope she can perform tonight!

  10. Still looking for performance videos of Jason, but he put up a new “Date Night” vlog! (You can also see it on his MySpace page.) So sweet!

  11. here is Indy, WYS.

Hope you are enjoying your vacation! ^___^ Bet you are excited for Toronto, huh??
