She studied piano with Anne Pizzale and later, at an advanced level, with Soeur Anita Vaugeois (Sister Cecile of Les Soeurs De L’Assomption in Timmins). Her vocal and accompaniment skills were nurtured by her aunt, the late Dorothea Mascioli. When Rosanne graduated from O’Gorman High School, she moved on to the University of Toronto where she continued her piano and vocal studies while attaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Rosanne has studied choral conducting with numerous well known Canadian Conductors, including Wayne Riddell of Montreal, Quebec and the internationally renowned Dr. Elmer Iseler. Fanblast is doing a Q&A with Dean(Archie’s vocal coach). Ill kinda write soem stuff from the chat.

David seems to be doing fine. He isnt on vocal rest. But sometimes puts himself on vocal rest during meets and greets because talking is what tires out his voice the most, not the singing.

They still vocalize together, and he often calls him during intermission to make sure he is warmed up good.

    Per Dean:
He really loves performing and the audience interaction. He is very picky about his singing though as well and really works to be vocally in shape and to be as perfect as he can be.
Dean said that WYS was probably the most vocally challenging but the most impressive, and at one point they were hoping to do it on the show but didnt get the chance. David also worries about Angels because he plays piano with that. ALthough he plays well, he fears he’s not as good on piano and then worries that concentrating on piano will take away from his voice.
He is ultra critical and is so picky that every little mistake bugs him even when nobody else can hear it. Still doesnt like to hear or see himself played back.
David is an enigma, so shy, but when the song starts he is so connected that he almost becomes a different person.

I was kind of surprised he did AI this year. I thought he was going to wait another year since his voice really hadn’t finished settling yet. His voice is probably 3 notes lower now then when he first went down to Hollywood week.
That is one of the reasons we worked almost everyday. To make sure he was comfortable with his new sound each week. So we have years of hearing David just keep getting better vocally to go along with all that natural style and emotion. But I think his basic timbre won’t change. It will just get richer believe it or not.

Theres more but Ill leave it here lol

I listened to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and Jason’s vocal improvement is outstanding. Improvements in phrasing, musicality and, most important, he is sustaining his voice with a cohesive approach towards his vowels.

I am going to try to listent to Archie’s performances tonight, but, I am sure that he sounded as outstanding as always.
