First of all, special thanks to Rickey.Org for posting this video.

That was quick and quick was what I was looking for after Forte’s incredible performance on Tuesday evening’s America’s Got Talent.

Singing the Broadway classic from Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story, these impeccably talented vocalists added class, poise and elegance to this week’s less than stellar lineup.

America’s Got Talent is a platform and I do believe that this platform has discovered rising stars in Forte members Josh Page, Sean Panikker and Fernando Varela. They will undoubtedly take the world by storm once the show closes the curtain on Season 8.

I am really tickled pink for these guys. They have worked tremendously hard to reach this point in their careers and together have found a way – via Forte – to make their indelible mark in the music industry.

Bravo Forte! Standing O!

  1. WOW One of my favorite songs.

Fernando sings with such PASSION! I am glad to see him at center. I think he’ll become the natural ‘leader’ of the group. Sean sings through a smile – I noticed this even more with The Prayer. Josh’s voice seems ‘young’ to me, but has a beautiful tamber/sound. WOW All three soloists who aren’t afraid to work together as a group – they don’t try to out-sing each other.

  2. It was excellent. Beautiful performance. Other performances were just too short, but here we really had an opportunity to hear and appreciate them. Great song too, I love West-Side Story.

True. I’d imagine having classical training helps a lot here given as opera singers need to sing in ensembles a lot, and sometimes do it on a very short notice e.g. when replacing someone.

  3. I also enjoyed the performance and hope the viewing public recognize their talent. They have a few good acts but I haven’t attached to any of them yet.

  4. Forte got robbed. i was especially dismayed that after singing “the Prayer”, all the judges gave Forte a standing ovation (well deserved) but Howie Mandel ingraciously sat it out. This performance was gorgeous. Whether or not you are a fan of opera, you nonetheless graciously acknowledge a beautiful performance. Mandel should be ashamed of himself. Maybe he needs to be replaced…

  5. Yes, Susan, I agree. Not a fan of Howie anymore. What a disappointment. He has a narrow scope when it comes to judging talent. Many of us can appreciate all forms of entertainment – whether it be comedy, juggling, dance, acrobatics, magic and illusion – and, of course, singing.

As a judge to sit and totally disrespect the excellence Forte brought to the show was beyond disgraceful. It was bias in its darkest form.

Well, Mr. Mandel, you have alienated thousands of fans through your lunatic and disrespectful remarks. Enjoy the lonely road ahead. Kudos
