What exactly is the allotted time frame? I’m sure we David Archuleta fans could use A TON of your time discussing our favorite star!
Thank you so much for doing this! I’ll be there — at 6PM California time. See, I get an early start, so you can stay as long as you want to and I’ll be happy. haha

That is VERY cool! Alas, I’m Jewish (and observant), so no internet Friday night for me. Hopefully, a transcript will be posted…

Masterclass Lady is awesome!
My question may be off the wall, but I see David having a very long professional career expanding beyond making CDs. In preparation for a career that could include film, Broadway, television, and other entertainment venues does David plan on taking dancing lessons?

Hi MCL,
I’ve been wondering for a while whether David is fluent in Spanish and if recording in Spanish might be in the future for him. Have fun tomorrow night and thanks.

I believe David was fluent in Spanish during his younger years. He did mention this in a recent interview. As he became older, English took over and his communication skills in Spanish were lost.
However, I a CD in Spanish and/or a few Spanish tracks would be wonderful.
Hope to see you tomorrow night, AuntAudie!

Don’t worry about it MCL, there’s no such animal as a good time for everyone. They’ll probably post a transcript; if they do, please post the link here, so those of us who have to miss can “listen” in later!

MCL – Thanks for your answer to my question, it’s a shame he didn’t keep up with it.
I’ve been busy since last Saturday volunteering and attending the Rochester International Jazz Festival which continues through Saturday. Everything except for the weather has been fantastic. One of the producers, John Nugent, is from Newfoundland and I’ve been hanging with a lot of his buddies from there who come in to help run the shows. They are a bunch of guys who are true gentlemen and a joy to be around. I’ve seen some amazing artists so far, last night an incredible ukulele player, Jake Shimabikuro, at one point he was strumming so fast his hand became a blurr, check him out on the tube if you get a chance. Tonight I saw Tierney Sutton and the Christian Jacob Trio and Beady Belle, all were terrific. There have been so many enjoyable performances, I could go on and on.
The Fanblast site doesn’t work well for me, terrible delays. I’ll be at the festival tomorrow night so I’ll miss you but I know you’ll be great, have fun and hopefully
there will be a transcript.

auntieaudie, the festival sounds like so much fun! I immediately thought Jake should give lessons to Jason (who just learned to play). Enjoy the evening.

MCL,
looking forward to tonight. As I said before…love your website. THANK YOU. It is quickly becoming the only one I trust.
I’m definitely a DA fan, but I find many of the comments on fan sites really fanatical and strange (guess thats the purpose), and youtube and press articles often have extremely negative an non-constructive comments. I decided yesterday, unless its your website, I’m not going to read posted comments anymore.
I want to compliment the people who post here. I always enjoy the comments, always positive, constructive and mature. I really enjoy people who post about other contestants from AI. I’ve gave Jason Castro another chance after reading comments here. I feel like I learn about music and people’s tastes, why they like certain singers…it helps me see those singers a different way.
Your site is different than the rest!! I love it. I’m a cellist, so I’m also learning a lot about the voice as an instrument. Its great! I am so looking forward to tonight!!!

This is great! I will be there even though the pace of live chats gives me a headache. MCL, did you ever get a copy of David’s studio recordings? I think you mentioned receiving Jason’s but I haven’t heard of any others you’ve received.
Anyone here have any “spoilers” on what the Idols will be singing on tour? I know the obvious ones they stated on Larry King, but wondering if any others have been confirmed.

Can’t wait till tonight. Im an avid Fanblast chatter, hahaha. I also read this blog throughout the season and find it very informative and insightful.
Waikiki, Richard(arranger that works with Archie on occasion, and frequent visitor to fanblast) made mention of one of his songs start with the word ‘like’ Which I think was referring to the lyrics. Though Richard did say he’d never of guessed the song, when he gave the hint. Said we’d probably not get it either. Someone else on another site, suggested that maybe the song could be ‘Uninvited’ by Alanis Morisette. Again this is just speculation.
But the tour will be soon, so we’ll know soon enough.
Again cant wait for tonight!
