Vocal MasterClass Discussion For Season 15 Of The Voice: The Top 8 Results Show

I snagged the information of this exciting lineup on Tuesday December 11th’s episode of The Voice from People.Com. Check. It. Out.

“As four artists move forward to compete for the Voice title, singers Jennifer Hudson, Hailee Steinfeld and Michael Bublé will take the stage to give them a little inspiration and support during The Voice semifinals next Tuesday.

Hudson — one of four coaches on this season — will perform the Diane Warren-penned “I’ll Fight” from the critically acclaimed documentary RBG based on the life and career of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, while Steinfeld will perform her newest single “Back to Life,” an original song from Paramount’s film Bumblebee, which hits theaters on Dec. 21.

And just before Bublé hits the road for his 27-city U.S. tour kicking off Feb. 13 in Tampa, Florida, the hitmaker will give fans a taste of what’s to come with his performance of “Where or When” from his newly released album Love.“

So, amidst all the drama that will unfold regarding the results, we shall have some wonderful vocal performances to take the edge off the suspense.

The excitement begins at 8:00 PM on NBC. So, take a break from baking and shopping and relax and enjoy. Have fun everyone.

About Masterclass Lady

Rosanne (Giallonardo) Simunovic began her musical career in Timmins, Ontario. She studied piano with Anne Pizzale and later, at an advanced level, with Soeur Anita Vaugeois (Sister Cecile of Les Soeurs De L’Assomption in Timmins). Her vocal and accompaniment skills were nurtured by her aunt, the late Dorothea Mascioli. When Rosanne graduated from O’Gorman High School, she moved on to the University of Toronto where she continued her piano and vocal studies while attaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She was hired as a piano accompanist for several musical companies, most notably, the National Ballet Of Canada. She presently holds an A.R.C.T. Teacher’s Diploma in Voice from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Rosanne has studied choral conducting with numerous well known Canadian Conductors, including Wayne Riddell of Montreal, Quebec and the internationally renowned Dr. Elmer Iseler. She has been a founding member of numerous community-based arts organizations: the Timmins Arts Council, later known as Arts & Culture Timmins, the Timmins Symphony Orchestra, and, the Timmins Youth Singers…as well as the TYS Alumnus choir, the Timmins Concert Singers. In 1987, she was also selected to be the conductor of the Timmins Board Of Education Choir, comprised of talented students from Grades 5 to 8. In 1988, she was elected to the Board Of Directors of the Ontario Choral Federation (now known as Choirs Ontario), where she served as Chair of the Festivals Committee for six consecutive seasons. In 1996, in honour of the Ontario Choral Federation’s 25th Anniversary, Rosanne was selected as one of 25 recipients of the OCF’s Distinguished Service Award for outstanding contribution to the choral art. The ceremony was presided by Lieutenant Governor, Hal Jackman. In November 1997, Rosanne Simunovic was selected by the Rotary Club Of Timmins to receive the prestigious Paul Harris Award for her years of dedication to the artistic development of young musical talent in Timmins. In August of 2002, Rosanne Simunovic was selected by the Board Of Directors of Choirs Ontario to serve as Conductor of both the Provincial Junior and Teen Choir Camps, now renamed in honour of the Camp Benefactors, Don and Lillian Wright. In November 2002, Rosanne was the one of the recipients of the Commemorative Medal for the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, honouring her work in the development of the arts in Timmins. Under Rosanne Simunovic’s direction, the Timmins Youth Singers and the Timmins Concert Singers have been featured in numerous choral festivals and performing opportunities outside of Timmins.     Let the games begin…I’m not sure who to guess for a top four, as crazy as this season has been, who knows. I would like to see, Sarah Grace, Chris, Chevel in the top four; but will probably be, Kirk, Reagan, Kennedy and Chevel

    Idol Girl, seems that was doesn’t it… I am really disappointed that Mackenzie didn’t win the instant save, she was the voice and out performed both Kennedy and Reagan.

    I remember Lauren Duski and liked her as well.

    Chevel is my favorite of the top four and second favorite of the whole season. She needs a little work on breath support as she tends to drop the end of phrases. The sound engineer at The Voice needs some work on micing singers who are fronting a big powerful band so they don’t get lost. It seems to be a chronic problem on this show.

    Even though Chevel is my favorite, Kennedy is a phenomenal talent.

    Kirk had a decent night, well at least he sang on key. He tries to sound like Arron Neville too often.

    Chris, to his credit sang a Delbert McClinton song, “Two More Bottles of Wine” for his coaches duet. Otherwise, I don’t think he belongs in this group.

    Pretty lame celebrity duet for Chevel. Not even remotely her style. I though Kelly might rangle Reba into doing it.

    Well, another season finale wrapped up (who was all of those people and why were they on my tv) I’m happy for Chevel, I think out of all of the Voice past contestants, she has the best chance at maybe hitting the airways. For me, this was a very lackluster season, top four wasn’t the best. I think I am the only person in the world who didn’t care for Kennedy out of the gate, she never wowed me, Kirik had one song that I liked, Chris, I’m not sure, he was a mix of Rascal Flats and Bob Seager, and I never knew which one was going to sing, Chevel was as close as I got to a favorite. I think some of the better talent was sent home in the knockout rounds due to lack of youth, lack of backstory or lack of coach motivation. I’m hoping Tony Jackson finds his way to this stage one day soon. But until then, February is just around the corner for another spin of the chairs, and AGT kicks off soon!

    I guessed correctly that one of the teens would win this season. I had guessed that it would either be Reagan or Chevel.

    The Voice is cutting back on the amount of Tuesday shows in the Spring, due to falling ratings. Wouldn’t surprise me if The Voice eventually goes to once a year.

    Saw a new singing competition show advertised on TV. This one looks absolutely ridiculous! The competitors dress up in costumes! I’d be rather shocked if it lasts for more than one season!
