A MasterClass July 4th Monday Performance By Sandi Patti Of The Star Spangled Banner

Sandi Patti, American National AnthemHappy 4th of July to my American readers.  And, of course, I had to include one of the best versions ever of your  American Anthem on Independence Day.

And, I must say, this is one  humongous version of the Star Spangled Banner by the one and only Sandi Patti.  Some of you may think it is a MasterClass Cheesefest. It sure pulls out all the bells and whistles and nothing is left on the table. That’s Sandi Patti for ya’!

However, what is undeniable is Sandi Patti’s remarkable vocal and dynamic range.  She sings with pure head voice from beginning to end but – ah – the strength of that head voice!  It is extraordinary.

The first verse of this song allows you to appreciate the ringing clarity and the  inherent beauty of Sandy Patti’s vocal timbre. Her tone is so transparent, so, SO gorgeous.

But, in the second verse, when the orchestra swells and the choir soars along with  Sandy’s vocals , you will be  taken to another dimension entirely. Fasten your seat belts. It is quite the wild ride.

You will have to be content with listening to the audio version  of this magnificent performance. The video portion only shows an American Flag blowing in your face.
