My deepest apologies. I forgot to add a topic for last week’s session of The Voice.   I have not been watching this show on a regular basis so I am leaving it up to all of you out there to fill me in.

Here is what is happening this week ( screenshot courtesy of Wikipedia ):

And yes – we have yet another version of “Hallelujah“.  Crazy. Is it just me or is this song getting really old?  What more can be done with this song that hasn’t been accomplished already?  Seriously?  Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised. Maybe.

Best of luck to all of the singers. I welcome your comments before, during and after the show.

  1. When it comes to the song “Hallelujah” I have one thought: K.D. Lang. I was fortunate to see her perform it live here in Charleston a few years back. It was absolutely breathtaking. And I listen frequently to the Rufus Wainwright version on “Lifted in the Spirit” (a wonderful compilation CD). I agree – the song should be left alone. I have not been watching the show regularly either (just too much going on) but I do have a DVR recording so I will try to watch it this week.

  2. Jordan’s version of Hallelujah was gorgeous! But there were so many excellent performances on last night’s show that it will be very difficult to see any of them be eliminated.
