Last week’s final Blind Auditons ended with fireworks. The stage was sparkling with outstanding talent and, once again, we are going to see some wonderful singers advance past the Battles and some not. Unless, they are blessed with a Steal from another coach. And, I can see this happening in many instances.
Here is what to expect in the coming weeks (Source: Wikipedia)
The Battles (episodes 7 to 10) consist of two 2-hour episodes and two 1-hour episodes each on October 12, 13, 19 and 20, 2015. Season nine’s advisors are John Fogerty for Team Adam, Missy Elliott for Team Pharrell, Selena Gomez for Team Gwen and Brad Paisley for Team Blake. Continuing with the format introduced in season three, the coaches can steal two losing artists from another coach. Contestants who win their battle or are stolen by another coach will advance to the Knockout rounds.
Apparently, Monday’s Premiere Battle Show showcases one of the best battles in The Voice history. That is saying something. Watch out for Celeste Betton and Mark Hood of Team Pharrell slay “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough“. It is truly a holy moly moment.
The Voice airs on NBC at 8:00 PM on Canadian Thanksgiving Monday, October 12th. It is a great a way to end your long weekend Canada, and, for the rest of you, it is a great way to begin your week.
Have a peekaboo at Celeste and Mark’s performance. It is excellent.
