Here is what NBCNewYork.Com had to say:

The show will feature a “night of talk, comedy, and performance to celebrate the upcoming release of her new album ‘Partners,’” which is set to release on Tuesday by Columbia Records, according to NBC.”

Wow. 50 years? I had to read this part twice. Half a decade since Barbra has been on any late night show? She really is a reclusive little thing, isn’t she?

Check out the trailer below. What an amazing lineup of performers and performances and Barbra clearly underscores why she is a unique legend in this business.

My favorite performances from this trailer were Barbra with Billy Joel and Michael Buble. Absolutely brilliant.

“Partners” will be released on Tuesday, September 16th. Are you excited as I? Which performances are you most excited to hear?

  1. I have heard many of the duets and some are magical; some passionate; some delicate as a flower. My favorite is her partner that is deceased. I wish Elvis Presley was here. I would imagine his voice would age a bit like Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, and Lionel Richie’s. Still great voices. I think this will be a very successful album. Good songs and Barbra’s voice is still powerful.

  2. FYI, Masterclass Lady, Jian Ghomeshi will be interviewing Barbra on Wednesday AM on his CBC radio program Q. It’s a Canadian exclusive and I will definitely be listening to that interview. His program is also televised on CBC TV in Canada and on some NPR stations in the U.S. I’ve been a fan of Ms. Streisand for 3 decades. She has the most versatile voice I’ve ever heard. She certainly puts many of today’s so-called vocalists to shame. What a gift!
