Set your Clock Alarm, Calendar or Reminder App to 12 Midnight November 12th. That is when the much-anticipated inaugural Forte CD is officially released.

It seems like just a short time ago these guys were enjoying successful yet below radar careers.

Then, by discovering and collaborating their enormous individual talents, they introduced an exciting new American – yet Multi-Cultural – trio called Forte on Season 8 of America’s Got Talent.

And now they are set to take the music world by storm, having launched an initial global platform via America’s Got Talent.

This is a busy week for the guys! Earliet today, they were special guests on Un Nuevo Dio where they performed their Spanish rendition of “My Heart Will Go On”. This song is also featured on their new CD.

They will also be debuting their Carnegie Hall Performance in collaboration with the Benefit Concert For The Golden Hat Foundation on Saturday, November 16th. If you live near and/or are visiting New York, I cannot think of a better way to spend a Saturday evening, so get your tickets pronto to avoid disappointment.

But, if you cannot see them live, then the next best thing is to order or download their Forte CD on Amazon .

  1. Hi Rosanne! Haven’t seen you over at the Forte Facebook fan page so I decided to come to the mountain! Looks like you have been busy. Love your article on the guys’ new album! It has been like Christmas the last 2 days with all of us receiving our pre-ordered albums from Amazon! The Forte album is simply STUNNING. I knew it would be good – but not THAT good! Wow. Gorgeous mixing too. So far my favorite track is still “Caruso” but a close 2nd is surprisingly “The Prayer” with Cami Bradley. The gang at the fan page all seem to like “Unchained Melody” and “Something” the most. It’s ALL good!

I watched Forte promoting their album on big Telemundo’s Un Nuevo Dio show yesterday morning. (Like Good Morning America). They sang “My Heart Will Go On” in Spanish. Rosanne, there is no doubt in my mind now that:
    1. that song will be a big hit for them;
    2. Fernando IS the reincarnation of Pavarotti and
    2. they are SO on their way to super stardom
The Telemundo folks went NUTS when Forte stopped singing – clapping & cheering all over their studio! (So did I)!

Will you be reviewing the album? I hope so as we value your opinion in this music biz -good or bad!

You can hear the entire album on Spotify here: https://play.spotify.com/album/6p1VJy2YunchjohqnfNlGI

I / we trust all is well with you! Stay in touch! : )

  2. One more thing! I have another song I think would be wonderful for Forte to try. It’s “Being Alive”. I love Barbara Streisand’s arrangement / recording: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hge6FqAQlR8
    What do you think?

  3. Suncatcher. Thank you for stopping by! Come to the mountain! Oh my, you make me blush.

Yes, I will be reviewing the CD but I have so much on my plate right now I don’t know where to start. Just bear with me – it will happen.

I loved their Un Neuvo Dio appearance. And, I agree with what you said about Fernando. He has been praised as the successor to Pavarotti and I agree. His voice is truly extraordinary.

I actually have the link to their appearance. It was sent to me by Columbia/SYCO. I will post it tomorrow but I know many of you have already seen it. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by. I will come and join in the festivities over at the Forte Facebook page soon. And thank you for your support.

Can’t wait for your Forte review! Continued success, Rosanne! 🙂

  5. Suncatcher – unfortunately I will not be able to attend Saturday’s show. So much going on this weekend here plus we have to attend a Memorial Service for a friend.

I cannot wait to see and hear about your surprises for Forte. Would have loved to have met all of you.

Will get the Nuevo link up soon and of course the review!! Stay tuned…

Thanks again for the support. 🙂

  6. Very good for them! I am happy of their success, I’ll order their CD.

@Suncatcher – I absolutely love Fernando Varela and everyone in Forte, but I fail to hear any similarity to Pavarotti. If anything, he reminds me of Mario Lanza. Besides, as I said it’s an entirely different genre even if Fernando had classical training and started in opera. Fernando Varela while a wonderful singer is no Pavarotti, and at the same time I think Pavarotti would’ve sounded pretty ridiculous trying to sing Unchained Melody.
