It is always exciting when someone close to home has gained a spot on any major television show.

And, this year, the exquisitely talented Fernando Varela, who is managed by my cousin, Paul Mascioli of Mascioli Entertainment based in Orlando Florida, has snagged an opportunity to hopefully share his talent with the world on America’s Got Talent.

This is what Paul Mascioli had to say about Fernando’s involvement with the show:

“Fernando is part of an exciting new tenor trio called Forte who have auditioned for America’s Got Talent. We’ll all have to watch over the next few weeks to see how they made out”.

And, that is all I can tell you. You will have to tune in to see how this story unfolds when Season 8 premiers Tuesday, June 4th at 9:00 P.M.

20130603-204622.jpgI have featured Fernando a few times on this blog and have met him as well. He is one of the kindest and most humble artists on the planet.

And, his voice is magnificent – one of the most technically secure and musical voices I have ever heard. But, what sets Fernando apart from the rest of the pack is his seamless ability to crossover to many genres of music with stylistic ease, including opera.

If you wish to further connect with him, please visit his website, FernandoVarela.Com, join his Facebook Page or follow him on Twitter.

Bravo Fernando! We are very proud here!
