Take a look at those four shining faces in the above photo! They represent the Final Four Dancers of Dancing With The Stars Season 16: Zendaya Coleman, Kellie Pickler, Jacoby Jones and Aly Raisman.

One of these four talented dancers will be crowned the winner in a two-part finale which begins on Monday, May 20, with the final competition dance, followed by the crowning of the winner on Tuesday, May 21.

According to The Washington Times:

Each couple will perform three dance routines Monday night. In the first dance, the judges have selected a dance out of previous routines this season they believe the star can improve upon over his or her first performance. The couples can “upgrade” the routine with new music and new choreography.

In the second round, the couples will dance a Cha Cha Cha relay. Each pair will dance for a different portion of the same song.

The third and final dance on Monday is the highlight of the season for many fans, the freestyle dance. Each couple can choose whatever music they like and there are no rules for the performance at all. They can add supporting or backup dancers, props, specia effects, and other “surprises.”

This should be an interesting couple of nights for dancing enthusiasts as we watch another great season come to a close.

Good luck to all the dancers tonight!

  2. She’s always been able to make me laugh since the first time that I saw her, but she had me a little misty eyed last night. Less is more. I was really proud of her. The judge’s reactions were pretty impressive as well. Two 11s and a bucket of tears. What Len said applies to singing as well as dancing. He said “good dancing touches the mind but great dancing touches your heart.” She and Derick have worked very hard this year and done an outstanding job. I hope the “coveted mirror ball trophy” goes home with her to Nashville.

Aly has shown a lot of growth, both personal and as a dancer, this year and Jacoby has been good all season as well.

Zendaya has been a little pro all season and is the best dancer of the group. There have been several good Disney kids in the past but none have won. I didn’t have a problem with her competing in the ballroom dances because she has no experience in that area, but several of her dances have reflected her hip hop background. Then, to top it off, she actually danced a hip hop dance, and that’s just not right. Drawing younger viewers is one thing but I doubt that they are looking for her demographic. The other three represent a much more attractive fan base that Zendaya does. I don’t think it will be good for the show if she wins.

  3. I’m hoping Kellie wins tonight too, Gene. She is a beautiful dancer. And I’ve mentioned this before, but I have really come to appreciate her as a beautiful person too. The other dancers were quite good too, but from everything I’ve been reading on line today, it seems that Kellie is the favorite.
