Vocal Masterclass Discussion For Season Three Of The Voice: Fourth Week Of Blind Auditions

20120917-150732.jpgCan this show get any better? Can it?

NBC’s The Voice has certainly proven that “three’s a charm“. The third season of this singing competition has come into its own.

Not only has this show discovered many absolutely incredible singers this season, but also the banter between the judges is refreshingly real and downright humorous..

And yet, their critiques are sound and well-formulated. Who can ask for better than this? These judges have found a way to be articulate and entertaining at the same time.

Tune in Monday and Tuesday at 8:00 P.M. and join in on the fun. You’ll be glad you did! This show is a keeper.

And join me in the comments section – let’s get this party rolling.

  1. They need one more thing to suite me this year and that’s a rocker chic. Suzanna Choffel is sort of an Indie rocker but I need more. Maybe tonight.

  2. Yes, Gene, maybe tonight. Not a whole lot of rockers on the show so far. Strange.

  3. I’m disappointed that there still no rocker chic but it’s a good looking group. It will be hard to sort this group out fairly in the battle rounds though. The “best of” show tomorrow is a good idea. Idol has always been the best at creating a bond between the contestants and the viewers so this extra level of exposure may help us latch on to out early favorites.

  4. I so agree with you Gene! Too many of the girl singers sound alike. I think a girl will win this year, but having each judge have 16 isn’t just too much. Idol has been the best at getting the contestants out there for us to know.

I have been watching DWTS during the time aired. I have enjoyed The Voice so far. I haven’t much interest in X-Factor thus yet. I am enjoying GLEE much more!

  5. Karianne,
Have you noticed Suzanna Choffel? She sang “Landslide” for her audition and I believe she is on Blake’s team. She’s a little different, actually a lot different if you listen to some of her original music on her website or You Tube. I think she may be a cut above as a performer as well. She is very comfortable on the stage.

There are a few girls that might be able to pull off a little rock but it’s not really their nature. There are a lot of poppers, a few indie girls and R& B singers and two or three country girls. How could they miss having a rocker chick when one finished second last season? They also have a lot of young singers this year.

I view these shows pretty much the same way you do. DWTS in real time, the Voice on DVR right after and I’ve been watching one of the lower budget singing competitions called “The Next” after that. I don’t find anything genuine or believable about the X-Factor but I like to see if there is anyone that I would like to follow independently. I like to of the girls that were cut during the judge’s house round last year. DVR only for the X and I may spend 15 mins watching the whole show. I have found Britney entertaining. I wonder if this is the last season for DWTS given the all star format this season. Wouldn’t you like to see them do that on Idol?
