She studied piano with Anne Pizzale and later, at an advanced level, with Soeur Anita Vaugeois (Sister Cecile of Les Soeurs De L’Assomption in Timmins). Her vocal and accompaniment skills were nurtured by her aunt, the late Dorothea Mascioli. When Rosanne graduated from O’Gorman High School, she moved on to the University of Toronto where she continued her piano and vocal studies while attaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She was hired as a piano accompanist for several musical companies, most notably, the National Ballet Of Canada. She presently holds an A.R.C.T. Rosanne has studied choral conducting with numerous well known Canadian Conductors, including Wayne Riddell of Montreal, Quebec and the internationally renowned Dr. Elmer Iseler. So I guess Jason was the only singer that performed at Manchester? You go, Jason!

I think all of Archie’s fans are busy downloading Crush today, but that wouldn’t explain the absence of videos from the other 8 singers.

Anyway, I off to listen to my Jason! Thanks ReReader

WOW! Jason’s performance of SOTR was like an out of body experience! The music moves through him and the camera just loves this boy. I love the way he changed up the falsetto a bit. Heaven ….

Oh – A DailyMotion video instead of YouTube. How refreshing! And it is a superb video. It’s as if I was sitting next to Jason – so real and clear.

However, I can see all too well that he is breathing in a somewhat shallow manner and that would explain the fragmentation of his phrases.

But, as I said a couple of days ago, his vocal presence has vastly improved and his voice sounds generally more focused and resonant than in some of his earlier performances on his tour.

Visually, he such an expressive performer and sings from his heart. I love watching him, such a genuine and sensitive young performer.

But, uh-oh, his mouth is in a horizontal position and he is really stretching his vowels.

Oh Jason, please relax your jaw and round out your mouth! You would notice such a difference, provided that the diaphragmatic breathing muscles were maintaining a consistent amount of support for your air.

But this was truly a huggable video, wasn’t it? Loved. It. So. Much.

Hmmm – is he singing this a little slower? The tempo sounds a little sluggish than in other performances. And he had trouble with his first upper note – the falsetto.

His voice sounds tired – the last of three successive shows. That would do it! Not his best performance, but, I can only imagine how tired these performers have become.

Oh boy, how I would love to get him on a one-on-one and fix his technical problems. And it wouldn’t take long – just a few simple adjustments and I think he would be fine for a while.

He would have to practice, but the difference in his voice would be unbelievable.

But, he is still a star and I truly hope that he finds the right people who will support and nuture hus musical career to his highest benefit.

Well I was trying to give you a break MCL – I don’t know about you but was preoccupied with the Crush release and up half the night yesterday- but then I noticed your comment about Jason being the only singer in NH – so that beckoned an Archie posting:

Here is a nice close up video of Apologize!

Please don’t stop the music – gets good at 1:55 – David A fan as first video of PDSTM that tracks David the entire time (a little something unusual at the end)

ArchieFan- I know all the Archie fans were in a “crushing” mood yesterday. You were and so was I.

However, let’s give this song a listen and thanks again ArchieFan.

His voice sounds a little tired at the beginning, during the Perfect 5ths intervals he sings on “away” and “say”. It’s the vowel – it just needs a cleaner “eh” focus.

But, hey, the rest of the song is an aural and visual work of art. His passionate and expressive voice and body language is second to none.

I can really see his face in this video and I am loving all the visual emotion coming from David. He works so hard and gives so much to his audience. I don’t know where he gets the strength to do this night after night.

He has such a powerful connection to his music and transmits that power and passion to his audience with lightening speed.

An extremely sensitive vocal performance. Bravo, Archie. Now it’s time to substitute “Crush” for this song during the remainder of your tour. One Republic have achieved enough publicity through your vocal gift. Let’s move on to “Crush” (fingers crossed)

Hello MCL..first time poster here! I was fortunate enough to capture David A and David C in Manchester. Some folks thought David A was tired in Manchester. I thoroughly enjoyed his performances. But like you say..how do they do this day after day?
