Last week was a great week. Who didn’t enjoy seeing Chef Gordon Ramsay covered with maple syrup?
And don’t get me started on the creation of those fabulous cream pies by the remaining group of 12 home chefs. I had to force myself not to eat everything in sight here – the visual of those pies jump-started my hunger pangs in a monumental way. Not fair, kids, not fair!
However, in the end, it is the camaraderie and genuine support these kids exhibit to one another that makes this show such a standout this season. They are having so much fun and their passion for the culinary arts is heartfelt and genuine.
This is a show brimming with enthusiasm and positivity. How utterly and thankfully refreshing!
Check out the video below and be prepared to smile from ear to ear.
MasterChef Junior airs on Fox on Tuesday, November 18th at 8:00 PM. It really is a “must see TV” experience.
Oh, and if anyone wishes to recap and/or offer commentary for this show on a regular basis, I would be forever grateful. There must be a culinary expert or two out there willing to add their expertise and insight.
And, if you live in the USA, you can watch the entire Season 2 series on iTunes –
and relive the magic of Season 1 via iTunes – .Finally, if you love downloading books, I highly recommend MasterChef – The Contestants and Judges of MasterChef and My Italian Kitchen – Luca Manfé. As you recall, Luca won Season 4 through his unique approach to Italian cuisine. Bravo Luca!
