Here are my Personal Picks from the June 2nd show.

DM Nation, Dance Ensemble:  They displayed some innovative moves on that stage, executed with exceptional precision.

Grade A: MCL Prediction:  Will advance to the live shows.

Wayne Hoffman, Mentalist: He brought the element of danger to his act in which Judge Howie Mandel participated. Howie was asked to mix up  three fire crackers on a table, one of which contained a live explosive.  Then, a blindfolded Wayne  selected one firecracker to be placed in his mouth and someone lit the fuse. It was just a normal firecracker. (Whew)  This was carried out once again with another firecracker. (Double Whew). So where was the live explosive?  The one left on the table, that’s where.  Very impressive.

Grade A: MCL Prediction: Will advance to the live shows.

The Craig Lewis Band, Singing Duo: These guys have been singing together for 10 years so they mean business.  They performed James Brown’s This Is A Man’s World and it was pretty awesome, I must say!   Their vocals were so nuanced and smooth, beautiful phrasing, exceptional vocal ranges. Like really exceptional. This was an exciting singing duo. I was not expecting this level of singing excellence.

Grade A +: MCL Prediction: Will advance to the live shows and probably make the Top 10. They will give Triple Threat a run for their money.

Stevie Starr, Regurgitator:  Honestly, I was not going to give this guy the time of day but he really put the magic into the art of regurgitation. Haha. Seriously,  it was sort of mind blowing. I have never seen anything quite like this.

Grade A+: MCL Prediction: He will regurgitate himself all the way to the Top 10 and will be sponsored by Gravol. Ha!

Benjamin Yonatten, Dancer:  This talented young man lost his vision two years ago. It was a quickly progressive illness and he had to, basically, turn his life around. He never wished to abandon dance and this is what brought him to the attention of the AGT Producers. He has no peripheral vision and wears Google glasses when he dances to assist him. Well blindness aside. He is a breathtakingly impeccable dancer.  So expressive and graceful. And very athletic at the same time. Loved this act and loved this young man even more.

Grade A+: MCL Prediction: Will advance to the Top 10

Shirley Claire, Singer: This talented lady is 87-years young.  And loaded with confidence and charisma. She is a bawdy little thing. Too funny. She performed the juice out of I’m Gonna Live Til’ I Die.  Good for her. I loved her. She is my role model. Haha. I want to be her when I grow up.

Grade B. MCL Prediction: Will advance to the live shows.

Alicia Michilli, Singer: This is a talented lady with a beautiful, accommodating personally.  She is very expressive and passionate in her delivery. Very soulful and not afraid of taking risks with her enviable vocal range. Love her confidence.  These traits should carry her through to the live shows but she will have to work out the intonation issues if she hopes to make the Top 10.

Grade B+. MCL Prediction: Will advance to the live shows.

Derek Hughes, Magician/Comedian: I love me some magic and this guy was fantastic. Like jaw-dropping fantastic. And hilarious to boot. What a card – so to speak.  He was a comic and magic act rolled in to one. Really unique and totally memorable. Entertainment at its best.

Grade A+ MCL Prediction: Top 10

Freckled Sky, Dancers: This dancing duo promised something special for Season 10 and absolutely delivers on this promise. They brought special lighting effects which blew my mind. It was absolutely gorgeous and phenomenally artistic. What a vision. I had goosebumps. I think this act could win the show. Finally. A dancing act that breaks barriers.  And because of their great skill and finesse, Howard Stern hit the Golden Buzzer, sending them immediately to the live shows in Radio City Music Hall.

Grade A ++ MCL Prediction: Top 5 and possible winners.

So, your turn!  Who were your favorites from Episode 2?  Please share in the comments section.
