About Masterclass Lady
Rosanne (Giallonardo) Simunovic began her musical career in Timmins, Ontario. She studied piano with Anne Pizzale and later, at an advanced level, with Soeur Anita Vaugeois (Sister Cecile of Les Soeurs De L’Assomption in Timmins). Her vocal and accompaniment skills were nurtured by her aunt, the late Dorothea Mascioli.
When Rosanne graduated from O’Gorman High School, she moved on to the University of Toronto where she continued her piano and vocal studies while attaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She was hired as a piano accompanist for several musical companies, most notably, the National Ballet Of Canada. She presently holds an A.R.C.T. Teacher’s Diploma in Voice from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.
Rosanne has studied choral conducting with numerous well known Canadian Conductors, including Wayne Riddell of Montreal, Quebec and the internationally renowned Dr. Elmer Iseler.
She has been a founding member of numerous community-based arts organizations: the Timmins Arts Council, later known as Arts & Culture Timmins, the Timmins Symphony Orchestra, and, the Timmins Youth Singers…as well as the TYS Alumnus choir, the Timmins Concert Singers. In 1987, she was also selected to be the conductor of the Timmins Board Of Education Choir, comprised of talented students from Grades 5 to 8.
In 1988, she was elected to the Board Of Directors of the Ontario Choral Federation (now known as Choirs Ontario), where she served as Chair of the Festivals Committee for six consecutive seasons. In 1996, in honour of the Ontario Choral Federation’s 25th Anniversary, Rosanne was selected as one of 25 recipients of the OCF’s Distinguished Service Award for outstanding contribution to the choral art. The ceremony was presided by Lieutenant Governor, Hal Jackman.
In November 1997, Rosanne Simunovic was selected by the Rotary Club Of Timmins to receive the prestigious Paul Harris Award for her years of dedication to the artistic development of young musical talent in Timmins.
In August of 2002, Rosanne Simunovic was selected by the Board Of Directors of Choirs Ontario to serve as Conductor of both the Provincial Junior and Teen Choir Camps, now renamed in honour of the Camp Benefactors, Don and Lillian Wright.
In November 2002, Rosanne was the one of the recipients of the Commemorative Medal for the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, honouring her work in the development of the arts in Timmins.

There is a bit of hidden humor in the Wiki piece MCL. They have little Brenn, who turned 15 sometime this week, singing Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing.” Pretty funny. Then it turns to wishful thinking at the bottom of the chart with Brenn singing for her life. Hmmm, anything could happen I guess.
Yeah Vonnie, Kayla did have a good night.It’s good to see her confidence building as a front of the stage player. I think Blake is good at building people up.
I also thought Brenn had a good night, not perfect but she has transitioned to live pretty well and that was a lot of song for her.
Christina is someone I haven’t paid a lot of attention to but she was very good tonight.
Pryor got back on track with a decent song choice compared to last week, but there is so much better material he could be doing with that voice, like some Van Morrison or Ray Charles etc.
I was disappointed with both Britton and Jackie Foster this week. Neither lived up to expectation.

I’m not usually one to like the big powerhouse voices, I usually go for the softer voices; but Kyla has so much texture and an almost Jazzy vibe to her voice. I thought she hands down won the night.
Yeah, not sure what has happened to Britton, I think song choice, but it’s as if he peaked during knockouts. I don’t know all of the girls names yet, but there are a couple I thought did a decent job last night. I liked Pryor and for the first time, the cowboy on Kelly’s team.
Haha, so are you saying the wiki is wishful thinking for someone? I certainly hope so, it’s bad enough thinking this show is rigged, but proof of that would close the doors!

My guess is that there is no conspiracy at The Voice. Whoever posted the Wiki probably just used some names as place holders to be edited after the event. What was interesting to me is the song choice listed for Brenn. All the other contestants’ song choices seem to be correct. My guess is her choice wasn’t made public on time so the writer simply made one up and used a bit of humor in doing so.
I’m still irritated that we are not getting credible Rock from Jackie the “Rocker,” or Soul from Brenn the “Soul” singer. Brenn actually had some Soul chops in the practice session but I didn’t hear it on stage.

Huh, there’s two Jackie’s? well, that explains a lot of my confusion! You may wonder (or maybe not) why I don’t know names…my husband thinks the remote has his name on it and fast forward is how we watch tv. So, I think the Jackie on Adams team is the one I like. The other Jackie is hip-boot girl and she’s on Alisha’s team, 🤔 right? Jeepies!!!

I would love to be a fly on the NBC/THEVOICE wall to see what has transpired over the last 24 hours. Lol. I am on Wiki a great deal and have never seen the Botton 2 published before the performance show. It is just left blank.

I think you like Jackie Face. She’s the one who obsesses over an injury she had to her face some years back in an auto accident. She’s perfectly lovely and should let it go. She’s coming along.
I’ve been trying to love Hip Boot Jackie, and the boots are helping. but I’m not feeling her rock and roll yet.
The problem I’m having with all of the contestants is that I just am not moved to do business with any of them yet.I did buy Brenn’s latest track. The iTunes version was pretty good. No one is setting to iTunes world on fire yet. Brenn has finally moved into the lead at 38th on the chart. ahead of Kayla at 39th and Britton at 40th. Yikes!
If I lived on the left coast (fat chance) I would probably be p.o.ed about the voting system for this round but I think that the reality of it is that people vote for who they already like, not who performed well that night. The main issue for them is the short time window allowed for voting that you would not be aware of without watching the show. One might assume that The Voice doesn’t care what they think. That may be due to lack of support from the area in past seasons.

Kelly made a horrible song choice for her team’s group song. She was the only one that the song suited.
Blake has always been generous when he performs with his team. I would say that he was the least suited to tonight’s song choice and there was a meaty part for each of his team members, especially Pryor. If there was a fault with his choice it was that at times the girls seemed like back up singers.

I haven’t watched tonight’s show only the end, I liked DR, I think given the right songs he could have done really well. I wish him well.

The Twitter results were shown during the commercial break and Rayvon was beating DR big time. After the commercial break, Adam was giving words of advice/encouragement to Rayvon and said something to the effect of, “Stop crying, man, you’re not going anywhere!”

I think Adan saw the same twitter results on his monitor as we saw at home. There was no way JR could close the gap in the vote that was present the last time they showed it.
