I can’t believe The Voice is still going strong with Christmas only one week away. I am no where near a TV set. Baking, shopping, cooking, partying. ”Tis the season to celebrate.

However, some of The Voice diehards are still going strong. You know a show has a certain kind of magic if it can sustain great ratings during the holiday season.

The Final 4 Performance Show begins at 8:00 PM on Monday, December 18th, with the Gala Results Show airing on at 9:00 PM on December 19th – all on NBC. Guest performers include Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, Chris Blue, N.E.R.D. and Charlie Puth

And that is a wrap for Season 13. Can you predict the winner? Comment away.

  1. Of the labels that the winners get sent to after the show, it sounds like Big Machine is more invested in them than Republic Records.

  2. Win or lose, Chloe’s my girl…I loved her original song.

I think this was a pretty good finale group; the win really could go to anyone of them.

  3. I like all the ladies, so I had a hard time deciding who to vote for, but finally settled on Addison.

  4. That original song of Chloe’s I agree was great…. To bad her voice wasn’t all there…….

  5. I liked Addison’s original song. It suited her voice very well. It was a little repetitive, but so were the others. Red’s was decent as well. I particularly liked the fact that he wrote the song along with his friend who had just lost his Father and then Red sang it the next day at the funeral.

I voted for Addison. She has lead iTunes since about noon. I expect Chloe to win for some reason. Maybe it’s the leather pants, don’t know.

  6. I’m hoping for an Addison win. Chloe may very well win, but I hope not.

  9. Well…I was greatly disappointed with Billy Idol and Chloe’s performance, guess I was expecting the edgy Billy, with the shocking blond hair do, leather digs, for both he and Chloe. Instead, well, I’m not really sure what I got instead.

I really liked Addison and Nora Jones’ pairing. I liked Vince and Red’s too. Noah,is such a throw back, he looks as if he should have a British accent and been part of the invasion. I could have done without a few of the acts.

Listening to Addison last night, wonder why she didn’t choose the country lane? She would have won hands down if she had, I think. Funny how she and Chloe were both stolen from Miley!

This was a great top four!

So next stop, American Idol, then another round of the Voice!

Since Emily didn’t make it to the live rounds, can she audition again?

  10. Congrats to Chloe and her fans.

Sia was one of the guests I could have done without. Can’t understand a word she sings. Just don’t get what’s so popular about her.

  11. Chris Blue’s finale appearance helped his song get on the iTunes R&B soul chart.

Personally, I didn’t like the song.

I thought it was just me with Sia…I didn’t understand a thing she “sang”!

  13. I began thinking about how Blake brought some of the past Team Blake members out on tour with him as opening acts. He also placed some of them on Miranda’s tours. There is even one former contestant who sings backup in his band, and I also saw her in Miranda’s band as recently as a few weeks ago.

Chloe doesn’t seem to fit as an opener for either of them (and that’s when the little bulb lit up in my head) Gwen is a pop star stuck in the eighties, and until she has a catalog of songs of her own, Chloe is an 80’s rock cover artist. So after a stint in Vegas, ruining her reputation as a rock star, look for her out on tour with Gwen.

After seeing the preview of the Vegas act, I can’t see any of the top four, well, maybe Brooke, fitting into that show. Maybe they will give Chloe her own segment of the show to rock out a little.

  14. Gene,

Plus, Gwen wants/ted a young girl to mentor…that was her main focus last season and Blake even “let go” one of his own, Brennley, for a Gwen steal. So your theory makes perfect sense to me. While Chloe is older, she still definitely fits the rocker/mini me/criteria. Good call…

I’ve been thinking about the Emily thing too, I know, I know, let it go, let it go, 😬❄️, but if she was someone that Adam didn’t see as part of his team, at anytime he could have let her go for someone to steal, but he didn’t he waited until she couldn’t be stolen and sent her home…something certainly is not right with this picture! I know there’s a story here, but what?!?!????? 😂😳🙃

  15. The only thing I can think of regarding Emily is that maybe she was too inflexible to work with. She mentioned during her introduction that the label she was signed to wanted her to change her look, change her style etc, and she wasn’t willing to do so. That said she seemed to change quite a bit during her brief tenure on team Adam. I half way expected her to join Charlie Puth in a surprise duet, which could have only helped him, IMHO. I don’t know what direction her singing would have taken, but she seemed to be remarkably skilled. I’m not so sure that getting signed to a label means all that it used to anymore so maybe she will make her breakthrough on You Tube, or whatever the next big thing is. Let me know if she makes any announcements on Instagram.
