Sunday, January 12th, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will co-host the 71st annual Golden Globes.
The show will be aired on NBC at 8:00 PM Eastern.
This is always a fun night! I love watching Tina and Amy spin their comical magic! They are a brilliant duo.
However don’t ask me who is nominated – I have no idea.
And, frankly, i don’t care. I just love the whole spectacle – the outfits, the drama, the speeches etc. it is just too much, isn’t it? A night of pure self – indulgence.
The voting decisions via the Hollywood Foreign Press will give us a glimpse as to what we can expect at the Academy Awards on March 2nd. It’s like looking through a crystal ball.

Enjoy the show everyone and add your comments below. Did your faves win or no? Are you disappointed that some shows or actors did not make the nomination list? I know that one of my favorite shows, Bates Motel, was sorely neglected. What an abomination! Best acting on TV!
I like Bates Motel also and was glad to see your recent post tat it would be back this season. I’ll have to check my local listings to see when it will start.

Yes Gene. It was favorite actually. Also love The Following and, to a certain extent, Blacklist.

i’ve never heard of bates motel (the tv show). i do watch blacklist and like it a lot. i watch ‘the mentalist’. it has become a new show, really, and i liked the old, and i like the new. and…i LOVE major crimes, it is sooo well written. i was thinking, during the golden globes, that it is not even mentioned. it is on tnt. it is a ‘follow on’ to ‘the closer’ which ended when kyra sedgewick left the show.

well, bates motel, season 1, is on order at my library, i may have to reserve it. maybe not now, it looks like a lot of people are on the list which means it’d have to go back in a week and that is a lot of watching for right now. thanks for the recommendation.
