Performance Masterclass Discussion For America’s Got Talent Top 12 Results Show

20130911-200647.jpgSo, what did you all think of Tuesday’s show? Which act or acts are a shoo-inn for the Top 6 or is it anybody’s game right now?

Well, one thing is for certain – some singers are going to bite the dust tonight and it won’t be Forte.

Radio City exploded on Wednesday evening after their singular performance of “My Heart Goes On” from the movie, “Titanic”. They sang the entire song in Spanish and, quite frankly, I prefer this language to the English version. It heightened the romantic essence of the number.

More to the point, however, it rallied the Latin American community to celebrate and vote.

And more exciting than their spectacular performance was the resounding standing ovation they received after they completed their number. Host Nick Cannon said it was easily the longest ovation of the season and I agree. It seemed to last forever.

There were some other strong acts last evening including Catapult, Taylor Williamson, Collins Key and KriStef Brothers.

Guest performers on the Results Show will be last year’s winner, Olate Dogs. I love these dogs and their trainers. Incredible act.

It all begins at 9:00 PM Eastern on NBC.

  1. Happy that Forte is in the finals, but sad that Branden James will not be. Otherwise, very, very happy that Kienchi will be in the finals. And happy for Taylor as well. Otherwise, not that excited about Cami or Jimmy. And as much as I’ve enjoyed the magician, today I read that people are accusing him of stealing the trick from another magician who performed on Ellen not too long ago. If that’s true, it leaves me hoping that he will not win. I really do not think he stands a chance of winning anyway.

  2. Louise – I’m with you. Didn’t want to see Cami or Jimmy in the Finale. I was rooting for Catapult and KriStef Brothers instead. Oh well…. My Forte is there so I am happy.

I never heard that story about Collins Key. Do you have a link to the original comment about his trick being lifted from another magician?

  3. FORTE is through, yeah! Agree with you Louise about the other 5. Interesting about Collins – hope it is not true as I really like him. Loosing Catapult and the Kristef Bro’s make the finals less interesting. America loves their singers I guess or the story line (Jimmy).
