Vocal Masterclass Discussion For The Voice Season 4: The Top 12

The Top 16 show last week was very strange. Some of the eliminated singers made no sense to me. How about you?

At any rate, we are now down to the Top 12. Just like that! Blink your eyes and 20 singers are gone over a two-week span. Is it any wonder that the viewers have difficulty becoming invested in any of the performers? They are not around long enough to form any kind of emotional attachment and, even worse, it is hard to keep track of all the names.

Scheduled to perform are:

From Team Adam Levine
Amber Carrington
Judith Hill
Sarah Simmons

From Team Shakira
Garrett Gardner
Kris Thomas
Sasha Allen

From Team Usher
Josiah Hawley
Michelle Chamuel
VEDO

From Team Blake Shelton
Holly Tucker
Danielle Bradbery
The Swon Brothers

Viewers should note: this is a three-night event! Two performance nights on Monday May 13th and Tuesday May 14th with the results on Wednesday, May 15th- the latter colliding with the Top 2 Performance night on American Idol.

I think Idol should win the night on Wednesday. It’s the Performance Finale so it would be very sad if The Voice Results night overshadows Idol. However, at this point, nothing would surprise me.
Whoops. Made a boo boo. Since we are down to twelve singers, The Voice will only be a two-night affair. The Performances are on Monday and the Results are on Tuesday.

Enjoy the show everyone!
