I am feeling much better this week. Flu virus – I am done with you for another year! It’s been real! Good times!
And as we enter the 7th week of DWTS, I have to say that I have officially had my fill of reality dancing and singing competitions. It’s too much! Just too, too much!
This is not to underestimate the fine work that the producers have envisioned for this show – because it is a great premise and there are some remarkable dancing moments in place each week.
But enough is enough! The days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer and the outdoors beckons me.
However, I must say that Zendaya is looking pretty strong each week and Kellie Pickler never ceases to amaze! But, of the two, I do prefer Zendaya – she just exudes enormous charisma and style.
And how great that Stevie Wonder was featured live! This is a fantastic element in this show – a legendary performer adding his or her songs while the dancers dance to the live music. It doesn’t get much better than this.
Okay, dancing instructors or performers, let’s hear from you. Who are your favorites? And why? And it would be great to see some technical analysis in the comments section too. Don’t be shy!! 🙂
Good luck to all the dancers tonight!
I have watched just about every DWTS show and this was one of the best. I don’t recall seeing an actual performer sing his own songs for the dancers. This was a terrific show. I know Kellie will be in the Finale, but I am supporting Ingo at this point. It’s a GOOD show!

The only way Ingo gets into the finale will be the GH fanbase, because he’s simply not that good. I can see only one of the guys getting to the finale and that’s Jacoby. Nobody can compete with his athletic dancing, stage presence and charisma. I do expect Kellie to be in the finale.
My honest feeling after watching Zendaya is that this girl is getting overscored and overpraised. There is something to be said for a little maturity and that is something she is lacking. The judges at least called her out last night for her top line form but I have noticed other things in her dances. I also think that being able to interpret the feeling and emotion of a dance is important and I don’t get that from Zendaya.
Ali did one of her best dances last night. She could be coming on strong and that will make it interesting as we head toward the finale.
