  3. We are so happy to have you around, Roseanne! The posts this week make it quite apparent that you are OUR MasterClassLady! Wishing you the best!

I am not quite addicted to America’s Got Talent but we have been watching. There are so many auditions, and right now Alice does stand out. I loved her performance of “At Last”.

Replacing David with Howie Mandell was a brillant move! I am enjoying his judging style so much. Why can’t Idol get a judge like him? Who says Simon’s replacement (should there be one) needs to be the ‘mean’ judge? Kara seems to be that often enough.

  4. Hi, Kariann,

I completely agree with you that Howie Mandel is a welcome addition to America’s Got Talent. I was never a fan of David Hasselhoff, and Howie adds humor to the show.

Last night I was hoping for some more singers. It doesn’t seem that we’ve had many of those so far. I loved Michael Grimm and thought that Alice was really good too. And then, of course, there was Prince Poppycock–certainly different, but quite talented. Up to this point, my favorite is Michael Grimm.

Thanks very much for starting this thread MCL. I hope you’re getting lots of rest!!!

  5. Louise -, yes, I am resting. I am so exhausted I have no choice. That is a good thing. Otherwise, I would be running off in all directions again. I think I’ve learned my lesson – this heart attack was one scary, life-altering event for me. Take care of yourself and enjoy another “Howie -filled” evening watching America’s Got Talent.

  11. I just watched the sisters with CF and it brought tears to my eyes. What an inspiration! And I agree that Howie is MUCH better than David as a judge. He’s kind AND funny, a nice combination.
