  1. When I spoke to all of my kids today and even my sister, we had all watched SNL and thought Betty White was simply the best!!! I was expecting her to host the show and be in a couple of skits, but she was actually in almost all of them. It was remarkable at the age of 88–AND A HALF–that she was so sharp. What a GEM!!!!! There were so many things that I loved about her, but I thought the census taker skit was hilarious!!!

  2. I forgot to mention that I hope all mothers who read this site had a very “Happy Mother’s Day”!

  3. And Happy Mother’s Day to you, Louise, and to all the Mamas out there!! Betty was just hilarious and that census taker skit was so funny! It was a wonderful way to spend 90 minutes!

  4. Best Mother’s Day present ever! Ms. White ruled the evening, and even with some so-so writing she showed the SNL cast and crew what real talent is all about, and it has nothing to do with age.

  5. Have you seen this clip from Britain’s Got Talent? She’s an 80 year old woman, mother of seven, grandmother of thirteen and great-grandmother of four, a wonderful singer and a fantastic attitude to boot. I love her!

  6. Sorry, I forgot to add that I love Betty White!

  7. Polly,

Thank you for posting that video of Janey Culter. What a treat! And, I enjoyed seeing Simon at his best. We’ve missed that spark this season.
