[VIDEO]Happy Canada Day To My Canadian Readers

20130701-144241.jpgShameless promotion alert!

The video, featured below, is of a choir that I founded and conducted for 25 years, The Timmins Youth Singers, which later evolved into The Timmins Concert Singers.

We were in Toronto celebrating our 15th Anniversary by taking part in the International Choral Festival in 1993.

In addition, we were asked to perform both the American and Canadian National anthems at the season opener of the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox game.

What an exciting time in our lives and the memories are still vivid in my mind.

So, on this glorious Canada Day, I hope that you are enjoy this little trip down memory lane with me.

And to my loyal and faithful readers – thank you for making the MCL Community one of the most informative and civil (Ha!) entertainment sites on the Internet.

  6. Ahh thank you Aileen. It was many, many moons ago but to me it was like yesterday. You were an integral part of the success of this choir and feel blessed that we are still making music together.

And, to all the MCL readers who happen to read this, Aileen performed a gorgeous duet – The Prayer – with Fernando Varela of AGT discovery, Forte, when he appeared in Timmins. :)
