Pitchy Masterclass Performance Of The Week: Erin Martin VS The Shields Brothers

Yikes! I am glad I was on vacation and missed this airing of The Voice’s Battle Rounds.

This was painful times a zillion to watch and listen. Is it any wonder that Adam Levine was at a loss for words and laughing uncontrollably?

Factor into this Blake’s sexual comments toward Erin plus Christina’s obscenity and you have quite the Prime Time adult-explicit content during and after this performance.

Erin Martin was eliminated last night after her lackluster performance on Monday..

Then she went blabbing to the press, basically dissing The Voice and her mentor, Cee Lo Green.

Well, at least she isn’t bitter!

  1. Oh I don’t know – Blake wasn’t that bad!! God, am I glad that Erin is gone – there is nothing to like in that voice. Nothing.

  2. MCL,

Thank you so much for putting this up! Yes, fortunately you were on vacation and missed this trainwreck! How on earth this girl got as far as she did, I have no idea. I saw her performance the other night and it was truly awful. I think Cee-Lo was trying to do something to take the focus off her voice with “Walk Like an Egyptian”. Nothing worked, Erin was breathy and couldn’t be heard, off key all over the place, just absolutely dreadful.

Today I read on MJ’s blog that Erin had the gall to blame Cee-Lo for this disaster! No, Erin, it was all you! However, I will say that it serves Cee-Lo right for even letting her get as far as she did. What was he thinking?

I guess Erin never learned that you don’t burn your bridges behind you when you are trying to get a start in the music business.

  3. She is awful. Just awful! And then the Shields Brothers started to song out of tune and then the whole thing got wonky. She just said buh-bye to her career. I mentioned her interview in this blog topic.

  4. Boy, this was really bad. All I can say is her highlighter looked good. She did not take the judge’s comments very well, either. She looked very angry and their evaluations skirted (no pun intended) her performance. I wonder why?
