This is my first season following “So You Think You Can Dance” and I am enjoying it immensely.

I am totally in love with Alex. What a joyful presence he creates on this superb show. He brings, skill, class, intelligence, drive and passion to his art form and uses his refined ballet skills to create memorable performances.   His talent knows no boundaries  – what an inspiration he is to aspiring young dancers.

Enjoy the show and please come back to comment!  Any dance instructors out there? We need to hear from you!

UPDATE: I am officially in love with Billy. He was exceptional tonight and how can you not love that adorable face?  I thought the judges were a tad harsh on Kent and did not bring enough positivity in their comments about his performance.

  1. I love sytycd – I’ve watched since the first season. But be aware, like idol, there is a strong possibility that the best performer will not be the winner. I love Alex too, and this season, he might, just might, pull it off!

  2. Hi revknits: Thanks for the Spoiler Alert. I know there are others who are more popular, but, hopefully, Alex bring all the essential elements necessary for a win. The big one = popularity!

  3. No Alex? Oh no! I hope he heals quickly but it doesn’t sound too hopeful, does it?

  4. No, MCL it doesn’t look good for Alex – and I thought he was going to win! I think they already know he won’t be on the show. A ruptured Achilles tendon is such a serious injury. Proper treatment and time for healing will be needed so as not to jeopardize his career.

OK, I totally adore Pasha. He is second only to Dmitry as my all-time favorite dancer. Lauren and Pasha had it going tonight, and it was my favorite dance.

Cat Deeley is one of the best hosts, if not the best on ANY Reality Show. Year after year she is passed over for the “guys”. Tonight she proved why she’s so great for calling Nigel out for his comments on Adechike’s Bollywood performance. I think there was more going on then what we saw. Mia really criticized his performance and her love for Jose troubles me. Why hurt Adechike with comparisons to Jose?

I think Alex will be going home with his injury. Robert is on shakiy ground. Oh, did I say how much I dislike Hip Hop music. Tonight’s song, “How Low” by Ludicris was just awful!

  5. The dancers were so good tonight. I was in love wth Adechekie (spelling) and Courtney’s routine…he can really get into character!

MCL – Have we got you hooked?

  6. Bizzee – yes I am hooked but I love AGT even more. So, I missed the last hour of SYTYCD. Darn! I really should DVR one of these shows. Looks like I missed the best dancing performances during Hour 2.

Granmmie Kari I agree that they were much too hard on Adicheke and all this love for Jose just confuses me. It was a great big lovefest for him last night. Strange.

  7. Oh, I just found out about Alex’s injury! NOOOOOOO!!! I was so impressed with him and loved watching him dance. Sad. I SO hope that he recovers quickly and the injury doesn’t cause any permanent problems.

  8. I find the love fest for Jose strange also. The show is about dance and the judges acknowledge that all of the dancers are better than he is, however he has heart. IMO all of them have great heart also. Billy, Lauren and Kent are amazing and Alex is just incredible. I am so disheartened with Alex’s injury. What a loss for the show and for him. I trust they will give him a pass forward for next year. They passed Billy forward from last years sickness so I can only hope they will do it again. Great show last night.
