It looks like the late Michael Jackson’s funeral arrangements are underway. This is going to be a huge event and rightfully so.
Reverend Al Sharpton flew from Atlanta to Los Angeles on Sunday to meet with the family, as well as to attend the BET awards, where the late performer was acknowledged and celebrated by his peers.
Whether or not you were a fan of his music, one has to accept that Michael Jackson was a musical genius.
His dancing and vocal skills were inborn and innate and rightfully earned him the title, King Of Pop.
He entertained like no other and one can only imagine the sacrifices he endured in order to raise his personal bar from performance to performance.
So, as we sit and wait and wonder, not only about the circumstances surrounding his death, but also about his celebratory memorial, we should also rejoice in the enormous outpouring of love and admiration for a young man who gave so much to the music world.
His stellar work ethic and his absolute love for his fans are legendary and his music will live in our hearts and minds forever.
