Weekend Update From Masterclass Lady

Hey there everyone:

A series of unexpected events have accumulated in my life and I am taking a few days off from updating this site with new blog topics.  I may stop by every so often to comment here and there, but, hopefully, I will be back in action later next week.

I apologize for this and am grateful for your patience and support.

Update: Slowly getting back to “normal”.  Thanks everyone for your uplifting words of support.

Stay tuned for another article about Scott MacIntyre and make sure you download David Archuleta’s Digital Bundle from ITunes today!

  1. MCL, just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers right now. Judging from your Twitter feed it sounds like you are not having a good week at all. I pray that your flu will let up very soon and for your health to return very quickly. May God bring healing to your body and your heart, because I know you are also hurting from the loss of that dear married couple. I will keep their families in my prayers as well. I know you have a faith that will sustain you through this storm, MCL, and I know God will be there to wipe away your tears. By the way, I don’t know what kind of worship music you usually listen to, but I always find encouragement when I am going through a tough time when I listen to “Praise You In This Storm” by Casting Crowns. It’s one of those songs that just grips your spirit and holds on till the end.

Still, I know that a simple song cannot take away the gaping void left by the loss of a loved one. Just remember that God is close to the broken-hearted, and as Hebrews 13:5 says: “God has said: I will never leave you”. May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile upon you and be gracious to you. May He show you His favor and give you His peace.

  2. Hi Rosanne – Shannon here.

I can only imagine what you are going through right now. The sudden death of this couple is such a tragedy. I did not know the couple, but it is still heartbreaking. I pray that you find the strength to get through this difficult time. I really hope you feel better soon too. Please know that I’m thinking of your entire Family and keeping everyone in my prayers.

As with Galen above, I also find comfort in listening to inspirational songs and agree that although they cannot bring back a loved one or fill the void of the loss, they do bring some comfort and peace. You just need to find that one song that will do just this for you.

  4. Hi all:

As I write this, I am once again listening to Scott’s beautiful performance of “No Fear” Thank your dear Kirsten for sending this to me again.

And know that Scott’s music was to be the subject of my next blogging topic. And I will make good on my promise when I feel better.

Thank you Galen for your heartfelt and inspiring words of comfort – you always know what to say. Your words are very comforting and I thank you for taking the time to add your thoughts and prayers.

And, of course, sweet Shannon – you are such a caring and loveable young lady. Thank you for always taking time from your busy schedule to provide happiness and support to those around you. I truly appreciate your caring, generous nature-a positive life force in my life!

I finish this comment just as Scott’s completes his song. What a beautiful young man and such an inspiration – that voice and that sensitivity -just sublime!

This song and his performance is a peaceful way to end the evening as I head off to bed. His voice and those words! Gorgeous!

Thanks everyone. Here’s to tomorrow! xoxo

  9. MCL,

I am thinking of you during this most difficult time. I found myself reminded of the saying – when it rains, it pours. Sometimes we may feel that it’s all just too overwhelming. There are a lot of heartbreaking bumps on the road of life. I hope that our thoughts and good wishes can provide some sustenance and give you comfort to get through this latest tragedy.

I am grateful for all that you have given us and hope, in my own small way, to try to give some of it back to you.
