Thank you, MCL, for making a topic about this! I can’t wait for June 9th! Ever since I heard “Zero Gravity”, I had hoped so diligently that David would make a single out of it, and my hope was not in vain! I am also extraordinarily pleased to hear that “A Thousand Miles” will be an added bonus as well. Vanessa Carlton’s version was fantastic, but I think I actually prefer David’s just a little bit more. I am just curious. Does anyone know for how much this digital bundle will be going for on iTunes? I can’t imagine it being more than $5.00, but I suppose no cost is too great for music of this calibur!

Thank you MCL for posting this!

We are trying to promote one of David’s charities Rising Star Outreach — and if you purchase your iTune fan bundle through the web site Good Search/Good Shop 2.5% is donated to a charity of your choice (ehm ehm Rising Star Outreach)

below tells you a little bit about it and provides the link into Good Search.

It’s a WIN- WIN situation — some David Archuleta music :) and donate to a good cause.

Hey, janey, first let me start off by saying that I LOVED “Prayer of the Children,” and can’t wait to see what David does with it. The song’s message is certainly right up his alley.

Oh, and I have the Fan Pack! Finally! I could not be happier! I like the “Touch My Hands” music video and “A Thousand Miles” is excellent, but for me the shining song in this bundle is definitely “Zero Gravity”! I am not exaggerating when I say it is on par with “Crush”! This is the type of songs radio stations will BEG for. God bless, David, for taking the time to give his fans this awesome blessing!

galen, David sang Imagine accompanying himself on piano for the first time, and POTC a capella and received a standing O…Jeff has indicated that he took videos and we are IMpatiently waiting for them now. The minute they come up I’ll put here and perhaps alert MCL to them as well.

Janey — a standing O! wow — and what an audience he had.

Yes — also IMpatiently waiting for the videos – a cappella POTC – crying already.

galen, until the vid is made public i thought you’d be interested in this info…

“David Archuleta committed his efforts to motivating the younger generation to get involved, mentor and make a difference. On a piano which formerly belonged to President Truman, Archuleta performed two songs, one of which brought the audience to tears and then to their feet for an ovation as it reminded them that despite the glittery surroundings, the reason the evening was taking place was for those children most in need.”

Well said, Kariann! I am happy to see that the Idol’s “Give Back” more than just once a year!

Janey, I truly enjoyed listening to that song! Thank you! I hope to find an MP3 of that performance somewhere on the net, because I know that it is more than worthy of being on my iPod! God bless David for singing songs with such depth and meaning.

  25. June 17, 2009 11:25 pm

Janey, THANK YOU very much! You really have a knack for finding decent quality MP3′s of lesser known songs! Me? I’m not so good at that! LOL So I am very thankful for your help on this!

I also look forward to seeing MCL’s comments regarding David’s POTC performance. Can’t wait!
