Recent News And Updates

Hey everyone:

I have been experiencing a busy couple of weeks here and will be taking a break from MasterclassLady.Com. over the next few days. I need time to replenish my tired mind and body and, also, to enjoy the company of my beautiful granddaughter, Kyra.

I appreciate the links and commentary that many of you have contributed to my site and please continue to do so in this post. I will try to comment as much as possible, but, if you don’t hear from me for a bit, it is only temporary -rest assured!

Also, I had the opportunity to hear Canadian country sensation and Canadian Idol runner-up from Season 5, 18-year old, Jaydee Bixby, in concert in Cobalt Ontario.

He is truly a magnificent talent, possessing a superlative voice and outstanding entertainment and performing skills, especially given his young age.

My daughter and I had an opportunity to meet with him and his talented band after the show and he remembered me from the Vocal Masterclass articles from Canadian Idol Season 5. He is a genuine, caring and enthusiastic young man, so positive and so passionate about his career. He also is very, very generous and appreciative toward his fans.

I plan to write an article about his show in Cobalt in the near future. I sense that Elvis truly lives through Jaydee, but the look is entirely different. It is pure Jaydee, but with an Elvis vibe.

Hop on over to his site and have a look at all he has to offer. He is going to be a huge star – remember – you heard it here first.

His official site is here.

And, to all the American Idol fans, I have not forgotten about the Davids or Jason or anyone else for that matter. In fact, once I finish my mini-sabbatical here, everything will be back to normal and madness and hysteria will reign once again on MasterclassLady.Com

  6. Hi everyone:

I am having a great time with my family this week = especially my granddaughter, Kyra. She is such a joy in my life. Every morning I wake up with a huge smile on my face.

Thanks for stopping by and saying “hello”. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – my readers are the best! So caring and so understanding.

And Janey – re 11/11 – you bet I will be back on borad on that momentous day. Certainly before that! Probably back on full steam next week. 🙂

As you can see, I already changed the look of my site, so I have been diddling around on the computer. I have never had so much spare time in a long time, but it does feel good.

  7. MCL, please keep Jennifer Hudson in your thoughts & prayers as she has just suffered three terrible losses. She didn’t deserve all this…she is so wonderful and seemed so happy before all of this happened.

  8. Erin – my thoughts and prayers do go with Jennifer Hudson. What an horrendous crime! Awful, just awful! She is such a sweet, loving young lady and now this? No, she did NOT deserve this. It’s a sad commentary on our world today, isn’t it?

  9. Yes, it sure is. I wish there was something I could do for her during this awful time. Have you checked out her latest album? Some of the songs on there are excellent. The ballads I feel showcase her wonderful voice more.
