Jaydee Bixby Scores Big with Cowboys and Cadillacs CD
It’s truly official. I said on the Los Angeles American Idol Tour thread that I want to adopt American Idol Season 7 runner-up, David Archuleta. Well, add Jaydee Bixby to my Christmas in July wish list.
As many of my Canadian readers know, Jaydee was the Canadian Idol Season 5 runner-up in 2007. His adorable face and his “aw-shucks”, earthy demeanor was hard to resist over the course of last year’s show.
Add to this his gorgeous baritone voice and you have a country-style package ready to be marketed to the masses.
Even if Country is not your style of music, this song and Jaydee’s performance are a hard combination to resist. The song is presently number 22 on the Canadian country charts; however, I have no doubt that it will zoom into the number one position.
