They are so different as performers that they are not, in fact, really in competition with each other, and I hope that they realize this and allow themselves to relax and enjoy their final round. For me, a lot of the joy went out of the show with Jason, and lot more tension came in (possibly a function of the lack of time and the increase in material to master)--but I do hope to see these two performers bring some of that back this week! And I am so excited about Tuesday night! I don’t know why, but I have such a good feeling.
