Kelly Clarkson Sings With Heartfelt Emotion For Pope Benedict XVI

Posted by masterclasslady on April 21, 2008

When I listened to the opening refrains of “Ave Maria”, I was actually worried. Kelly sounded a bit breathy and fragmented within her approach to her phrase lines.

However, Kelly being Kelly, the end result was absolutely glorious. She added some lovely vocal embellishments during the second verse of this song. Yet, in the end, it was Kelly’s genuine grace and poise that stole the show.

Hope you enjoy it.

Hi There MCL. Unfortunately the link you have provided from youtube is not working. However, if readers just go to youtube themselves and type in Kelly Clarkson, they will find a video…there are many ones.

I thought her performance was amazing. I thought she sounded kinda airy at the beginning..although this could have been from the Mic and wind and what not. But it was an absolute gorgeous performance…breathtaking!
